It combines power and all-wheel-drive handling like few others can. The STi takes the already more-than-capable WRX and adds power and handling tuning to make this a truly special performance machine. About.com had this to say in 2004: "It's under full acceleration that the WRX Sti has few peers. It blasts 0-to-60 in an astonishing 4.6 seconds! The quarter-mile goes by in 13.2 seconds at 103 miles per hour. Brembo brakes (almost 13-inch) haul the Sti from 60-to-0 in 110 feet. You accelerate faster, corner quicker and stop shorter than just about anything else on the road. And with all-wheel drive you can do this in almost any weather." This one adds some aftermarket performance upgrades that take it even higher up the sport-sedan ladder. The exterior is in nice shape. There are no significant dents or dings, and the paint shines all around. Its black with a fine gold-colored metal flake in it, and it goes great with the 18" gold wheels from Rota. There are a few nicks and paint chips, mostly on the hood. Nothing that detracts form the overall appearance, though - its a good-looking car. Autocheck shows no accident history or any other problems. Exterior enhancements include 18" alloy wheels, a hood scoop and a rear wing. The interior is also in good condition. There are no rips or tears in the seats. The front Recaro buckets provide both comfort and support. This STi offers a full compliment of comfort and convenience features: power windows, locks and mirrors; Clifford remote entry with alarm; cold air conditioning; Kenwood AM/FM/CD stereo head unit; tilt steering wheel; cruise control, and much more. Please see the "features" chart near the top of the description. Aftermarket adds include a GReddy boost controller and a Defi gauge control unit Safety features include dual air bags and ABS. The Driver Controlled Center Differential adjusts to six different levels of differential locking. The books and Stereo remote are with the car.The trunk is roomy. It looks like there may have been a subwoofer and amplifier in this car. They are no longer with the vehicle. The 2.5 liter turbo runs strong. It's rated at 300 hp and 300 lb-ft of torque. All of that power is kept under control by Brembo Brakes, a sport-tuned suspension and more. It appears this car has other numerous aftermarket adds. Unfortunately, we don't know exactly what has been done.. This car may be driven, so it could have a few more miles on it by the time the auction is over. These forms are acceptable for the deposit as well, and we will accept Paypal for the deposit only. If you are the winner, a $500 deposit within 48 hours of the end of the auction is sufficient to hold the car until the remainder can be sent or car is picked up. If these forms of payment are not acceptable, please do not bid. Final payment is expected within five (5) days thereafter. The mediation must occur in Broward County, Florida. The parties will split the cost of the mediator. The parties must personally appear in Broward County for the mediation. Representatives of the parties will not satisfy the aforementioned requirement. The aforementioned mediation is required prior to the initiation of civil litigation. If mediation does not resolve the dispute, then the parties agree that only the 17th Judicial Circuit Court for Broward County, Florida can resolve the dispute.
