Vehicle Detail
1994 BMW 325 This vehicle is an all-original car that has been well maintained and would make great primary, commuter, or student’s car. The vehicle has minor cosmetic flaws that can easily be repaired, if desired. Please read description. THE SIX DIGIT ODOMETER, LOCAL BMW CENTER, AND CARFAX REPORT CONFIRM THE MILEAGE HISTORY OF THIS LOW MILEAGE CAR AT 88,800 miles!!! The low mileage is attributed to the fact that this vehicle was driven sparingly for the past 10 years> The title to this vehicle is clear! I have a CARFAX report that I can share with a serious bidder that shows the mileage and title history. I purchased this vehicle from the second owner’s estate. This car has been driven sparingly for years and was stored uncovered outside. This vehicle has never been wrecked!! The mileage on the vehicle is original at 88,800. I still drive this vehicle, so it may have a few miles over 88,800 when it is purchased. The engine and transmission are original and do not have any modifications. The V6 engine with fuel injection is extremely strong and does not smoke or burn oil. The maintenance on this vehicle was performed by BMW and the car recently had the engine control module replaced by BMW. During a recent service, I obtained a print-out that shows the BMW maintenance that was performed over its life. The car also has a new muffler. The car was repainted a few months back when the clear coat on the original paint started to peel. A few minor parking lot dings and dings from when the car was stored under a tree were not repaired when the car was repainted, so they still show at close distance. The wheels and tires on the car are in great condition. The center caps on the wheels are new. The tires are 205-60-15 series on the original aluminum wheels. The tires are matching Michelin tires and have approximately 85% tread remaining. The interior is in fair condition for a 1994 car. The headliner on this vehicle is sagging in the rear and will need to be replaced along with the rear side pillar cover. I have inserted a picture of the headliner where the previous owner used a few screws to hold it up. There is one rip on the driver’s seat and the center arm rest has rashing from sun and use. The rear seats have minor rashing from age and use. The dashboard and door panels are original and in good condition. The vinyl on the center panels on the rear DS and front PS doors are loose as the heat has affected the glue. The carpet has minor blemishes that are commensurate with the age of the vehicle; there are no major stains or damage to the carpet. All of the seat belts, seat belt loops, light globe covers, ashtrays, control knobs are present and are in good condition. The doors, trunk, and hood open and shut well The radio is the BMW original with cassette and works fine. The on-board computer works fine. The ABS light comes on intermittently; however, the brakes are fine. Per conversation with the BMW technician, the ABS lights were notorious for illuminating on these vehicles without fault The bumpers on the vehicle are in excellent condition and do not have rashing or blemishes. The floor pans on the vehicle are solid without rust. There is no rust in the wheel wells or door jambs. The air conditioning on the car is extremely cold. The heat works great. The glass on the vehicle is in great condition. The trunk cargo area is in good condition Buyer is responsible for all shipping arrangements and costs. This vehicle is being sold as is, where is with no warranty, expressed written or implied. Seller assumes no responsibility for any repairs regardless of any oral statements about the vehicle. GOOD LUCK!On Jun-23-10 at 20:04:25 PDT, seller added the following information: As I stated in the description, I had a new muffler installed on the vehicle, but I think the vehicle may have a small exhhaust leak near the manifold or engine since it is not as quiet as one would expect. I am not an expert on these vehicles, but have noticed that these vehicles tend to be a bit louder than other cars. The car is not execessively loud or noisy; it sounds more like a vehicle with performance exhaust. The exhaust does not affect the drivability of the vehicle, I just want to make sure that it is stated to bidders. I have also attached a picture of the rear pillar that supports the headliner that needs repair on the vehicle. The previous owner completed a home repair of this pilllar cover by using two screws. The new owner may want to replace the headliner and this pillar cover. The driving lights do not come on. I was told that they were not connected to the switch by BMW when new. I do not know the cost to have this done. Remember that this is an estate car and the complete history is not known; however, based on the engine and transmission alone with the low miles, this car's value far exceeds my reserve! On Jun-24-10 at 11:19:24 PDT, seller added the following information: When closiing the electric sunroof on the car, sometimes you have need to press the wind deflector down. I have dropped the reserve down on this car to $3,299.00. Good Luck
