GORGEOUS ONE-OF-A-KIND '86 VANDEN PLAS WITH ORIGINAL PAINT. LOW MILES! MAKE OFFER! The last of the classic Jags! Series III XJ6s are becoming very difficult to find in original condition. This is the MOST RELIABLE classic car we have ever owned. It was a present for my wife who usually won't get anywhere near the driver's seat of a classic car. I purchased this car from a local car collector and exotic car enthusiast who purchased it from the original elderly owner. He used it for the occassional road trip. I made two trips from South Florida to Houston late last year with absolutely no issues. The vehicle still wears it's original factory Crimson Red paint. This is the "right" color for this car, don't you think? Going down the road it looks gorgeous. Upon close inspection you will find areas where the paint is starting to check, or clear coat fade, but for the age the car still looks great. A small door ding (I could not get it to show up in the pictures) appeared while parked in the MD Anderson parking garage. The interior also shows extremely well with no rips, or tears in the leather. The headliner looks like new. The A/C blows COLD, all of the guages work, the original stereo sounds great and all of the power windows work as they should. The power sunroof works. The car just received new brake pads and belts. The Vanden Plas wears recent Good Year Assurance tires. Included are the original books, manuals, jack, tool kit, factory touch up paint, both sets of original keys, and 3 of 4 ORIGINAL Lambs Wool mats to keep your toes toasty in the winter.
