This 1955 Studebaker President Speedster has a 259 cid overhead valve with a V8 engine. Four barrel Carburetor with 3 speed auto transmission. Also, Independent front suspension with coil over shocks, semi-elliptic rear springs with live axle, four wheel hydraulic drum brakes: wheelbase 120.5. She runs very well and is rust free. It does not come with the orignal fog lights. This car has been re-painted once and does not have the orginal carpets. Everything else seems to be orignal but we do not know for sure because we bought the car in an auction. It does come with a historical book of the car (photographs), one of Jay Leno is signed.This is a beautiful car and should nto be passed up. The Studebaker president Speedster was in production for only 1 year, just 2,215 models were made. This is a very rare car in this condition and a great investment.
