This is a completely and beautifully restored, 1962 Chevrolet Impala SS (clone)....convertible. This car turns heads everywhere you go and maintains the integrity of the “Classic Chevy Era”. This great car has received a full frame-off restoration front to back. This car has never been abused, or chopped up and fitted with hydraulics. FRAME: was completely disassembled; every nut, every bolt. It was then painted black and reassembled with all new rubber, bolts, bushings, shocks, new everything. All was built back to stock specifications, including rear-end and gas tank. Power steering works great and the car handles beautifully. Front disc brakes were added to increase it’s stopping ability due to the shear power produced by the cammed out 350 engine powering this classic. ENGINE/TRANNY: Engine is a rebuilt chevy 350 with a cam for extra horses with matching tranny. There is less than 1000 miles on the engine so it’s ready for Sunday cruises and parades or driving cross country with the top down. Much detail and emphasis was placed on the engine and it’s components and you will not be disappointed! A dual exhaust flowmaster system was added to increase performance and gives the car an excellent sound while cruising. BODY: The body is completely straight with absolutely no rust. This car is showroom material. INTERIOR: The interior in this car is in excellent condition and so clean, you could eat a steak dinner on the seats. Ididit steering column for improved performance was added and all new gauges. Convertible rack was professionally sandblasted painted in black to match the interior; beautiful shine. Convertible top is a beautiful new white stock vinyl. MOULDINGS & CHROME: New bumpers, grill, headlight & tail light mouldings and rear SS panel and coves. Re-done side SS mouldings and much much more. All the mouldings, trim and bumpers are as good as it gets. GLASS & WEATHERSTRIPPING: All glass and weatherstripping are brand-new. This includes doors, trunk, windows, front windshield, convertible top, etc. The work on this beauty was completed about a year ago and it has been garaged and covered.
