Up for bid, one 1988 Chevy Monte Carlo LS. I just bought this car from the original female owner. The car has 132,913 miles. The car has a good clear title in my name. Mechanical details: The engine is a 4.3 V6 and it runs with a miss. The transmission is automatic and was rebuilt at 119,000 miles. The car has air conditioning but it doesn't work. Everything else I have tested works. The tires are worn and will need replacement. The car appears to have been well maintained. Included are two mounted studded snow tires. Body Details: The paint is all original with no signs of repair or paintwork of any kind. The car was garage kept when not being used. The paint on the top surfaces is slightly duller then the sides but is not peeling or cracked. All in all, the paint is in nice condition. The body has some dings and touched up scratches with the largest dent being along the body line on the right quarter panel ( see close up photo ). The bottoms of both doors are rusted and both quarters have rust ( see close up photos ). The outer door skin on the right side is rusted away from the door shell. The moldings and trim on the car are still bright and in nice condition. The frame has a small amount of rust at each rear rail end ( see close up photo ). Interior details: The previous owner was a smoker so the interior has an odor and some cigarette burns on the drivers seat ( see close up photo ). The headliner is sagging but was tacked up in a few spots by the original owner ( see close up photo ). The dash has no cracks. The ash tray is missing. The rest of the interior is complete and in nice condition down to the original GM floor mats. Sales terms: This vehicle is being sold as is with no warranty.
