1989 FULL SIZE GMC JIMMY EFI 4X4 WITH SNOW PLOW . Dont let the looks fool you, this is a very reliable truck! I have plowed with this truck the last two seasons. I recently got a great deal on a newer truck which is why I am selling it. This is an awesome starter plow truck for small/mid-size jobs. I was told that it was a former IDOT truck which explains the low mileage and the rust (plowed in the winter and then sat). It has a fuel injected 350 that runs perfect. I replace the oil pan when I bought it about 2 years ago and everything looked very clean inside the motor. It has an automatic transmission that works great as well. I had the brakes repaired (some new lines and pads) and a new muffler and tailpipe installed. The truck drives straight, but the actual steering wheel needs an alignment. The tires all have lots of tread on them. The truck comes with a Western plow that functions properly. I have an extra joystick and a spare pair of hoses that I had made up. Im not sure if the actual plow is a Western, but the pump and all the controls definitely are (see pics). The heater works great, you will have the window down in the winter. Mechanically, this truck is in very good shape. The body is obviously very rough. I started to do repair work on the body and basically finished on side of the truck (new rear quarter panel, drivers side floor board, rocker, fender, and a good door). I have most of the parts (rocker, floor board, used fender, used door, quarter panel) to repair the other side, just not the time to install them. I probably have $250.00 in new body panels from JC Whitney still in the box that are included. I installed a rust free used rear tailgate (the window works but needs some work on the tracks i think). The rear cargo area is also very rusty and has some holes. The rear cap is removable but I have never had it off. If someone put in the time to repair the passenger side and spray it all one color it would be a very cool looking plow truck. Low reserve price of $899.00. I probably have $250.00 worth of body panels from JC Whitney that are included in this sale! Any working plow is worth $500.00. Between the new body panels and the plow you already have $750.00 worth of stufff. With a low reserve of $1000.00 you could essentially get a great running fuel injected 4X4 truck for $250.00!!! And this truck will make you money- This is the perfect plow truck for someone looking to make some extra cash. This truck made me more than I put into over the last 2 years.
