Vehicle Detail
1993 Jeep Wrangler for sale or trade. 6 cylinder 5 speed. 137,000 miles. Air conditioning, tilt steering, sound bar, roll bar padding, rear seat. I have owned this Jeep for 13 years. It has and still serves me well. Great daily driver or trail rig. Some upgrades have been installed over the years I've had it. Lockrite lockers front and rear, 4.56:1 gears, BDS 3.5" spring lift with Warrior 1/2" lift shackles, Performance Accessories 1" body mount lift with new body bushings, 33x12.50 Super Swamper TSL bias ply tires with new spare, Milemarker two speed hydraulic winch with 125' cable, American Racing wheels w/stainless steel centers, Warn winch mount, Olympic tire carrier & bumpers w/rear bumper receiver hitch, Banks headers, Borla stainless steel muffler, Tuffy rear security tool box, Goodridge extended stainless steel braided brake lines, JKS sway bar disconnects, Mountain Off Road Enterprises "Bombproof" 1" lifted motor mounts, Black Diamond shocks, Warrior u bolt skid plates and shackles, Bestop softop, bikini top and rain cover, 6" Xenon flares front and rear, steering box brace. Mechanical condition is good. I replaced transfer case chain, seals and front axle seal approximately 10,000 miles ago. The rear axle was completely rebuilt by 11 years ago. Chrysler put all new lifters in the engine about 12 years ago. Motor runs exceptionally well. The clutch was replaced at 68,000 miles and is due to be changed again although it works fine. The clutch has an internal slave cylinder so if you have to repalce it at some point in time, you might as well install all new clutch components. That's what I did last time. I put a new water pump on it this winter. I replaced clutch master cylinder 8 years ago. Chrysler put a new emergency brake pedal mechanism in it some years ago to appease a factory recall. I have all the service records and receipts for all the parts. I replaced the radiator in March '97 when I bought it. All new exhaust system was installed with Banks header and stainless steel muffler within 5 years ago. Body and interior are good to fair condition. The paint still has some shine. The body has scratches from off roading through brush over the years. I got too close to the same tree coming and going on a trail near home and creased both front fenders. If I kept it I would replace fender with the new style "flattie" fenders. Other than some minor surface rust in very few places, mainly around edges of bumpers, springs and small place on fenders, this Jeep is rust free. The driver's seat is developing a tear in the seat bottom. Rear seat has been reinstalled at this time. Other than the fender damage, scratches and driver's seat tear, body and interior are in very good condition. Overall condition is good. As stated, the clutch is working but has similar mileage it had on it last time when it failed. The fenders have been creased and very minor repair work could be done to restore fender integrity. Everthing works on the Jeep. The oil pressure is 45-50 psig at operating speeds and at hot idle is 15-20 psig. Operating temperature is 190-200 degrees and charging voltage is 14-15. I just completed two back to back trips in the Jeep totaling 400 miles mostly interstate travel. No problems. As I said, I have owned, driven and trail ridden this Jeep for 13 years. It runs like a sewing machine. At this time the tool box has been taken out and the rear seat, belts and brackets have been put back in. I am missing the two small seat latch brackets. When I locate them, I will put them back on. The High Lift jack seen in pictures is not included. This Jeep is 100% trail ready as is or you can daily drive it. It still has decent road manners. It is a very reliable and capable buildup as I have owned it for 13 years. It has been driven in this state for about 11 years. This Jeep is insured, tagged, daily driven and I have a clean NC Title in my name in hand. I can be contacted at 828-310-4883 or via email. If you don't reach me, leave a message. On Jun-13-10 at 15:07:13 PDT, seller added the following information: Update. I observed in the vehicle reporting section of my Jeep that the Lien was referenced. I just wanted to clarify that the Lien was satisfied. I do have documentation to verify that. Any questions, call. Thanks, Brian. On Jun-17-10 at 17:53:51 PDT, seller added the following information: The Milemarker two speed hydraulic winch is a 10,500 lb. unit. It retails for approximately $1,350. My cost was around $1,000 approximately 10 years ago. The high speed engagement is for quick cable retrieval. The winch works off of hydraulic pressure from the power steering unit. It will draw 2 amps max as long as you pull with it. I regret selling it with the Jeep. It has never failed me. The winch is included in this listing along with everything pictured except the High Lift jack. Although the Tuffy rear cargo box has been taken out of the Jeep for sake of rear seat reinstallation, it of course is included. The box retails for $620. I have a receipt for $369.99 when bought new. If the Jeep doesn't make Reserve, I may disclude those items and relist it without them at an effectively reduced Reserve price. The Banks exhaust system upgrade alone was over $1,500 installed. Thanks for all the inquiries and bids. The auction is scheduled to end Saturday morning around 10:00 AM. Please remember, if you saw it auctioned here, then you bid/purchase here. All other listings have either expired and/or I deleted. Thanks, Brian.
