I recently purchased this 1956 Olds and have decided I have to many projects going already. The car was purchased from an estate and has a fresh 324 V8, 4 barrel engine (I have all the paperwork for the build $3300) and hydromatic tran. It runs and drives great. All the brakes have been rebuilt and it stops well. The paint was completed about 2 years ago and looks very good, the body looks fine but has had some body work done( its 54 years old) not perfect, but is very presentable. The interior is very nice but needs the front seat repaired even the cigar lighter and dome light work! The trim is pretty good but the bumpers should be replaced due to dents and rust. All windows work and are clear but the windsheild is cracked. The car needs and anntenna and a little tlc ,it has been in storage for 2 years so I would suggest that if you are a distance away a trailer would be a good Idea . The trunk has boxs of extra parts for the car including grills etc. I have driven the car aprox. 30 miles and it was fine.. I would call the car a 15 footer and would not be ashamed to take it anywhere. I will consider trades must be finished driving pre- 48 hot rods , gassers , Mopars, Amc or other interesting 2 dr trades.
