Vehicle Detail
2001 Chevy Silverado LS 1500 Heavy Duty 2WD Stepside pickup truck. As shown in the NADA book. I know this description is a lot to read, but if your really serious about bidding on or buying this truck, please take the time to read the entire page, it should answer every question you may have and if it doesn't, please do not hesitate to ask. A rare find, you will not find another truck like this with lower mileage. Has current PA Inspection and Title. This truck was brought into Pa from TX in 2001 with 2,600 miles. It was purchased by a friend who ran the truck until 2009 when I purchased it from him with 39,500 miles. I purchased this truck to run as a personal vehicle, which was ran up until now, with the current mileage of 43,800 miles. The truck does not have or never has had any trouble and runs 110%. Automatic transmission. Power doors, locks, windows, steering. AM/FM radio and CD player (factory). The interior has no holes or tears and is in basically like new condition. Comfortable to drive and ride in. The A/C blows very cold, and the heater blows very warm. Rides smooth. Gets a lot of looks! The sound alone when starting this baby up grabs attention. Extremely low mileage, the average mileage for this year of vehicle could be well over 100,00 miles. This truck has never been run in the winter while in my possession. Truck is in very good condition, I just no longer have room for it. I believe I've added a sufficient amount of pictures, but if you need any additional pictures or information please do not hesitate to ask. I have the current PA title that is showing reconstructed. There is not, nor has ever been any physical damage that would require any body or paint work. There is no problem with this title but if you have any questions regarding the history report, please feel free to ask me. Everything about this truck is legal, registered, titled, inspected and road worthy. *NOTE* These pictures were taken in very bright sunlight under a tree, so there are a couple photos, mainly the pic of the hood that make the paint look discolored. In NO WAY is there anything wrong with the ORIGINAL paint. Added: Chrome American racing rims. I'm constantly checking my messages and will get back to you in a timely manner. If your having second thoughts about this truck because of the situation with the title, PLEASE do not let that affect your decision, this truck has been driven almost 42,000 miles since the salvage title has been issued with no problems then, and no problems now. Every year, the registration and PA State inspection has been issued without any work necessary. The truck still to this day runs like it did at 2,600 miles which is 110% Please read below... I've had several questions concerning whether or not this truck is titled.. PLEASE do not consider this truck to be a salvage title, it is a reconstructed (R) Title, which is NOT the same as a salvage title. The title we have for this truck is a reconstructed title (legal in all states), NOT a salvage title. (It was a salvaged title only in 2001) This truck had a salvage title in 2001. This is no longer the status of the truck. In 2001 the truck had water damage which consisted of a small amount of water on the floor and NOT in the motor or transmission. Because the truck was new at the time, the auto insurer totaled the truck (on paper) so the claim could be settled. It was then sold to another dealer in PA who took it to an 'Enhanced Vehicle Inspection' station, certifying that the vehicle was road worthy. The Enhanced Vehicle Inspection guidelines are stricter than the average inspection station and are highly regulated by the state of Pennsylvania. In other words, what your seeing in the vehicle history report is a generalized definition of a vehicle that had ever had a salvaged title. If this truck was in fact still a salvage title, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation would not have issued a reconstructed title, nor could it be licensed and/or titled for the highway. Everything about this truck is legal, registered, titled, inspected and road worthy.
