Vehicle Detail

This is a 1970 VW bug convertible that I purchased for my wife a couple of years ago. I bought it for $5000, as it has a new top, new boot, new tires and rims, paint job, brakes, new gas tank, carpet, and electrical maintenance. i put a few cosmetics into it but my wife doesn't really drive it now that we have kids. This vehicle is available if you would like to look it over. I am selling this vehicle as is. Buyer is responsible for pick up. The vehcile runs and drives great. Currently there is no horn due to a missing plastic washer (all other components including wire were replaced) On Jun-10-10 at 15:32:43 PDT, seller added the following information: I recently showed this vehicle and wanted to make sure that I listed all defects and minor problems. (I do not want to waste anyone time). In addition to the horn not working, there is a severe rip in the front drivers seat, (currently covered by "ladybug blanket" which goes with the car) and the brake pedal is low. I listed it as having a new cover, upon putting the top up i realized that only the exterior black cover is new and that the under liner is not ( the top "boot" is also brand new). The radio/tape player in the car is present but not hooked up, (no speaker), I have the original (functional) factory radio that goes with the car. I would rate the paint job between fair and good (previous owner painted it himself). Last, i noticed that the air vent duct work is missing in the engine compartment. i just wanted to list everything I could think of that was wrong with the car. I am not trying to take advantage of anyone, just looking to get rid of a car that we never drive. if you are looking for a mint condition perfect vehicle this is not it. This is a cute little bug thats fun to drive around and looks pretty. I encourage anyone interested in seeing the car before they bid on it to send me an email, and i will gladly accommodate you.
