1981 CHEVROLET CORVETTE 5.7L 350 V8 AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION GLASS T-TOPS NEEDS SOME RESTORATION SELLING WITH NO RESERVE You are looking at a 1981 CORVETTE with a 5.7L V8, Automatic Transmission and Glass T-Tops. This CORVETTE was a bank repossession and is in need of some TLC. This CORVETTE starts, runs, and drives good but the floor boards are weak, the paint is poor, and there is an area of rust on the frame in front of the left rear wheel ( all seen in pictures ). The car is very much safe to drive and drives well but we must bring thoses items to the bidders attension. You are buying this car exactly how we purchased it, we have not even washed it off. This CORVETTE has air conditioning but it does not work. The head light are slow but do go up an down as they should. This car runs and drives good and will make a very nice collector vehicle if someone has the time. The odometer shows 92,594 miles and we believe to be correct but due to it being a bank repossession we must sell this vehicle to be mileage not actual. CONDITION: EXTERIOR: Body and paint are rough. No major cracks in the fiberglass but will need repainted to look good again. Floor boards are week and there is a small area of rust on th frame infront of the left rear wheel. Left T-Top is cracked. Car still looks good from a distance but needs some work. INTERIOR: Good. Needs cleaned but the seats, carpet, door panels and dash are in good condition. Expect repairs on electrical items such as power windows and power locks. Overall the interior looks pretty good. DRIVETRAIN: Starts, runs ,and drives good. It will not take much work to make this car a nice driver. This vehicle is being sold with a CLEAN INDIANA TITLE. SHIPPING and PAYMENT: $500 non-refundable deposit due within 48 hours of the end of the auction. If deposit has not been received within 48 hours of the end of the auction the vehicle will be relisted, no exceptions. Balance due upon pick up.
