Very nice original, unrestored black 1937 DeSoto 4 door sedan. Car runs and drives very good. This DeSoto has been stored inside for at least 25 years. Looks to have been repainted some years ago. No rust anywhere, this car is very solid. Original flat head 6 cylinder engine and 3 speed manual transmission. Engine has all new hoses, belts, rebuilt water pump and carburetor, New spark plugs and fluid changes. Fuel tank was drained and cleaned of old fuel. Has new brake shoes. Wheel cylinders and master cylinder have both been rebuilt. All original gold colored interior, the carpet and headliner have been removed, headliner bows are there. Original hub caps, tires are in very good condition, not weathered checked. Grille is in EXCELLENT condition, no dents. Bumpers are very nice for original. Rubber on running boards is original, but is deteriorating. Floors, doors, and trunk are very solid with no rust holes.All window glass seems to be original. Original gauges in working condition, with the exception of the water temp gauge which has been replaced with a new mechanical gauge. Mileage shows 49,423 miles on the speedometer, but I am not sure if that is original mileage or not.
