Vehicle Detail
This is a 1979 Trans Am. No, it does not have a 6.6 it is bored Pontiac 455. It has a full 3.5 inch from the headers back exhaust with two 40 series flowmasters I have been told it was loud. It has a couple small dings and scratchs in the front and rear this is a driver not a trailer queen and the intoror could use some love. It is a blast to drive as long as you are not looking for MPG it gets around 4 MPG in the city and 7 on the long hauls. It dose run on pump gas 93 octane and has a long list of goddies that I will list below, if you have any questions please feel free to email. 455 Pontiac bored 30 over line honed, zero decked 6x-8 heads ported and polished with oversized valves Harland and sharp roller rockers The rods and crank were shot peened and magnafluxed to be checked for cracks The hole assembly was blue printed and balanced TRW pistons 11.5 to 1 compression Meling high volume oil pump Custom ultradyne cam ( I cant seem to find the cam sheet it is a roller set up and that is all I can remember so dont ask) Edlelbrock performer intake Custom Holley 750 Double pumper (and yes I know it is to small it had a 1000cc and it went up, but I assure you it has plenty of balls with the 750) S&D Restonation and perofmance custom air box (so the shaker works and it draws cold air from the cowl) Blackjack Headers Custom turbo 350 trany 3800 stall torque converter B&M megashifter 2 chamber Flowmaster 3 1/2" Powermaster high torque starter Four core radiator Frame connectors Driveshaft loop South side machine traction bars MSD HEI and coil MSD 6A box Russell steel braided brake lines Hurst line lock Competition Engineering Shocks (50/50 front 90/10 rear) Lowered springs in front 12 bolt GM rear 4.11 posi Moser axles Energy suspension urethane busings all the way around RCI fuel cell 16 gallon (it fuels from in the trunk) Holley red electric fuel pump Battery relocated to the trunk S&D Restonation and perofmance custom cool can (yes it is a planters penut can, it is a great conversation peace) Summit battery disconnect switch Fram fuel filter Simpson 3 point harness on both front seats POR 15 trunk and under car 18x9 rear 17x8 custom rims Goodyear F1 tires Hobnail interior ACC carpet
