Truck now runs. Engine starts and brakes work. This same truck I sold on ebay a few weeks ago and now I'm relisting it. The original buyer and I agreed to relist. But everything works out for the better because now that I've had some time to work on the truck, the engine starts and runs. The brake fluid tank was empty, I filled it back up and pumped fluid into the lines and did my best to bleed the lines. The brakes are now working, probably not 100% but they do at least work a little. I cleaned off the points in the distributor because the plugs were not getting power. After the points were cleaned the engine started right up. The gas in there is old...not sure how old but you can tell by the smell. I added gas stabilizer, Sea Foam, into the tank and added a few gallons of fresh gas. Let the engine run for a few minutes then shut it down. It ran pretty good. You're bidding on a 1952 Chevy 2 Ton Truck. Keep in mind this is a 2 ton truck which means it's much bigger than a regular size truck. The cab is a little rough, check the pictures and if you want more I can email you some. There is a rectangle hole in the dash where something is missing, maybe a radio...check the pictures. Needs a good cleaning, there are rat droppings in the cab, I cleaned some out but there is still some under the seat. The seat comes out and if you have a power washer that is the first thing I'd do. The battery sits under the floor board in the cab on the passenger side. There is currently not a battery with the truck. Driver's side door window is cracked in a couple places. Check pictures. Passenger front window is cracked. Check pictures. High and Low gear. The only dent on the sheet metal that I've seen is below the driver's side headlight. At least it looks like a dent, check pictures. It might hammer out. Looks like the blinker mechanism on the sterring wheel is something someone added on, and some of the taillights looks new as well. Couldn't get taillights to come up but maybe they are burnt out. The horn works and so does some sort of blower (heater/ac) in the cab, when I turned the key on you could hear the blower running, then found the switch to turn if off and it stopped. Passenger headlight worked. Underneath the aluminum bed of the truck is plywood, some parts are rotten and need to be replaced. When I first listed the truck there were aluminum sides on the bed, I have removed the aluminum sheets/side but the metal racks/sides are still on truck. I'm not sure if the metal racks are the original or not but they appear to be old. I purchased the truck on 4/11/10. I have the title which is signed by the POA and the POA paperwork. I have not titled the truck in my name. I'll add more pictures of the bed later today. Ask questions about the title and I will try my best to answer, I don't know much about titling vehicles.
