Up for bid is a 1971 Candy Topaz Orange cl350. Odometer reads just shy of 19000 miles. The bike starts on the first kick, idles great, shifts through the gears and stops. The bike does not burn or leak oil and the inside of the tank is pretty clean. I have not had time for anything but a quick hose off so I'm sure an afternoon with some polish could take away much of the grime and dull chrome. I would consider this a #4 condition bike as there are a few cosmetic deficiencies, but nothing to keep you from immediately enjoying the bike as is. I take the bike around town from time to time and it really gets a ton of attention. With a little detailing and some new parts this could be a super rider. The bike would also make a great start for a restoration as it is mechanically sound and 97% complete. Issues: Dent in front fender Tiny ding in the top of the tank and one side. Hardly noticeable Original paint is very presentable but it shows it's age Tiny rip in the top of the seat and no seat strap Left headlight ear is bent Small ding in muffler guard. Mufflers are quiet and in good shape Brake light disconnected at the hand control (that way when I bought it) Brake light works with rear brake. All other lights/signals/horn work. Minor pitting in chrome that could probably be cleaned up with never-dull or brass wool. Non stock shocks, air cleaners, tires Starter switch works when it wants to Speedo cable needs lubed Carbs could be synchronized better as there is slight hesitation at higher speeds (60-70 mph).
