Up for your consideration is my son's well cared for Celica. We bought this car from the second owner from NJ. He was an older guy who took great care of this car. Most of the miles were highway commuter miles. My son has driven this car for about 20,000 or 30,000 miles with no problems.We bought it knowing it had a leaking oil pump. We had a new one installed and the car hasn't missed a beat since. Like the previous owner we change the oil religiously. I have spent over $300 on a new exhaust and muffler. The installation alone for the sound system was over $300 at Best Buy. The $1,000 after market sound system includes: Sony Xplod 1,300w stereo, sony xplod 12" sub, Bazooka amp (EL1500) 600w. Deck has Ipod, CD, Aux, Tuner Remote included. This sound system turns heads whereever you go and sounds great. This car runs great and uses about 1/2 quart of oil between changes. I'm sure this engine will run another 100,000 miles. The clutch is good, steers and handles great. These Celica GT's are great handling cars. The only problems is the sunroof won't open (No leaks) and the leather on the front seats is badly cracked and ripped. We just covered them but this car would be a good canidate for racing seats one day. Tire tread is good. I would drive this car cross country without a worry. The AC blows cold. Buy this one now, you'll be glad you did.
