Vehicle Detail

1993 Chevy truck truck is in good shape for it's age. I've used it as a parts running vehicle for about two years now. It's basically a little hot rod. Runs well. Has a full set of headers back. sounds pretty nasty. Turns heads and I get alot of compliments on the old truck. Cruise control works. Window and door locks work great. I had an upper intake gasket put on it about a year ago but it drips oil from the oil pan so that needs changed. I had all of the brakes reworked and new calipers and lines about a year ago. Truck has a B&M speed modulator for the transmission. 20 inch wheels. Tires are wearing well but they're coming close to the end of their life. They probably have 10k more miles on them but they're dry rotting a bit also. The odometer doesn't work so I am guessing on the mileage. The speedometer and tach work but not the odometer. I took the dash apart to see if it had been altered and to replace it but it's digital so it hasn't been messed with. It just doesn't work. I think the entire guage cluster should be replaced because it's cheap and you can see that all of the guages are off just a bit. The carpet was new about 5 months ago. Stereo is sweet. JL audio 12's. Not to much but some nice sound. Fosgate components front and rear. I believe the amp is a kicker. Flip screen CD player. SBC 350 in it. It runs a little rich and I've timed it about 5 seperate times so it probably needs the dealer to put a computer on it and time it perfect. It did not run rich before I had the intake gasket changed and the mechanic told me I needed to take it to the dealer and spend the 50 bucks to get it timed but I just didn't get around to doing it. I've put about 20k miles on it in the last two years. I was told there was 5k miles on the new motor when I bought it so the engine should be 25k miles. But I cannot confirm the mileage so please take that into consideration when bidding. I have a need to pull a bigger trailer so I'm upgrading to the hummer in the background pics. WOOOHOOOO The hard cover on the bed looks good and is in good shape. I believe it was painted right before I bought it but it's not a show paint job. It's good looking from 5 feet away but it's got it's flaws. The cab corners on both sides need work very soon. The floors have ZERO rust. This truck really is in good shape for it's age. It also has a 95 and newer front end conversion with a 2 inch high rise hood. I can't tell that the truck has been wrecked but most of these old trucks that have a front end conversion were involved in an accident at some point. Nothing is bent up on it so I can't tell. The truck sounds good and is pretty quick. The truck needs a little TLC but it is a really good truck.
