2007 Suzuki Burgman 650 Executive NOTE: THIS IS NOT A STANDARD BURGMAN 650! Priced to move! No reserve! I am the second owner of this Burgman Executive (I bought the bike in 2008 with 6K miles on it). The first owner had the bike dealer serviced exclusively (I do my own services as I have numerous motorcycles). Bike has all services complete to include all fluids and spark plugs. This is the one if you are looking for a scooter and it needs nothing! I am regretting selling as I am moving on to another fully automatic motorcycle so this one has to go. Unlike the standard Burgman, the Burgman 650 Executive is hard to find as they are made in fewer numbers. The difference between the standard Burgman 650 and the Burgman 650 Executive is as follows: -ABS brakes -Retractable mirrors -Retractable windscreen -Passenger backrest Price: Buy this scooter in one of the most highly desirable colors for about half the price of a new one. Owner impression: Overall the Burgman offers several advantages over the competition as it is the largest displacement scooter sold in the U.S. capable of 116mph top speed, so you can cruise all day at 75 to 80mph with ease. My wife and I took the bike to PA the weekend we got it and it rained miserably during the trip. We were with a group of Harley’s and we ended up having to wait for them in the rain, on the open highway and in the mountain twistees on the way back (This bike is amazing). Perfect balance, is fully automatic (no clutch), but it does have a tip-tronic type manual shift mode. Other features include a plug for your cell phone charger or hand-held navigation system, hand operated parking brake, steering lock and hidden ignition key cover. Has plenty storage under the seat (we took luggage with us to PA for me and the wife without a problem). There are several additional storage bins on the bike as well. This is a tall scooter (taller than most) so if you are under 5’8 I recommend you look at another scooter as I am 5’8 and my feet reach the ground, but anyone any shorter would probably be on their toes. I am throwing in a pair of heated gloves as well that are mounted and ready to use! Commuting advantage in the DC area: I used this bike to commute in the DC area where traffic is the worst and I can tell you, I was getting somewhere between 45 to 50 plus mpg and I went from 54$.00 a week in fuel to $9.00 a week using premium unleaded (but you can use regular gas in this scooter) and cut an hour off my commute each way (more time at home!). Mileage: less than 13K, however I am still riding the bike every chance I get and you will too once you get on it. If this new bike I am buying does not work out or is not to my liking I WILL BUY ANOTHER BURGMAN EXECUTIVE without question!
