1981 VW CADDY TRUCK 1.6 Turbo DIESEL engine Good running condition. Bought this truck from a guy in over a year ago. He had replaced the engine with one that came out of a rabbit that had only 35,000 miles on it. He painted the truck and customized it by adding: second row seat, the back window unsnaps and becomes a convertible, he added a roof rack, and snap on bedcover, and did some custom work on the inside. 40+ MGP. I have used processed bio-diesel and regular diesel in it. I bought this truck and a diesel jetta at the same time and have driven the jetta as my daily driver. The truck i have used on my small farm, hauling feed , etc. I've never put tags or insurance on it. I put new tires and brakes (front and rear),, replaced gas tank, drivers side CV axle, and a few other parts. The fan blower doesn't blow on postition #4 and is noisy, suspect it also needs some kind of wheel bearings, the passender door window track is damaged, (but have parts to repair that). Needing to sell, having to buy daily drivers for my 2 teenage sons. SERIOUS BIDDERS ONLY !!! I reserve the right to end the auction early, I am also advertising this truck locally.
