1993 Honda XR

Here is a solid 1993 Honda XR250R. This bike runs good, and lives up to the bulletproof reputation of all Honda XR bikes. The bike hasn't been ridden much the past seasons, as I've switched over to riding 2-strokes, but it starts up every time with no issues. Before I bought my newest bike, I had this bike rebuilt (new piston, honed cylinder, some valve work) because I intended to hang onto it forever and figured that after 15 years, it was time. Since the rebuild, it has honestly just sat, with only roughly 2 hours on the rebuild. Since then however, it appears to be blowing some smoke from the exhaust. I assume that it's something as simple as the valves not being set properly, because the bike runs stronger than it ever did without even an ounce of lost power. It has new ProTaper bars, CEET seat cover, factory owner's manual, and a full Cobra exhaust (Forest approved spark arrestor, header pipe wrapped in heat wrap). The exhaust gives the bike a nice growl. I've owned the bike for several years, and it has never let me down. Tires and chain & sprockets are not new, but are rideable and have life left. Not the prettiest bike, but it serves it purpose on the trails. All sales final. $100 deposit required within 48 hours of auction close and then cash must be paid in full upon pickup.
