This vehicle has been 100% garaged. Current mileage is 152,800 (90% Highway). There is minor buslter wear on driver side seat and rear seats which can be seen in photos. The car also has a slight dent on driver's side "rear" bumper which can be seen in photos. Full service was done in 2005 (service records & receipts available) This vehicle comes with 4 "slightly used" snow tires (used one season, but hardly driven during the winter months) This car has been garaged and not been driven in several years. It has recently been checked out by two seperate mechanics. Car has slight sputtering and was found to "possibly" require a new fuel pump &/or fuel injectors. Complete cleaning of fuel injectors may rectify sputtering issue. Vehicle gas gage works intermittently. Automatic pull for rear hatch works on passenger side only & is broken on driver's side. On May-26-10 at 18:05:35 PDT, seller added the following information: *Please Note the Following Changes/ Corrections and Additions to This Auction* Corrections: *Inadvertently, 25th Anniversary Edition was stated in the ad for this auction and that is not correct. Paperwork from my Dad's Porsche 911 was mixed in with the folder for the 928 and was mistakenly placed in this ad. *The second correction to this ad is that this vehicle does not have a driver side airbag. Most Porsche enthusiasts should already be aware of these corrections, however; we do not want to misrepresent this vehicle in any fashion. Changes: *In our ad, it was stated that the driver side seat has bolster wear, however; after our mechanic returned the Porsche to us this past Tuesday, we noticed that the seat had a tear. This can be expected in a 22 year old classic car in original condition, however; we need to state this as a new condition so all are fully aware. Pictures of the tear will be posted in our ad. *Current Mileage is 152,870 Additions: *Both driver side & passenger seats are heated *Limited slip differential The following is a detailed report for service completed 02/24/05 @ Swedish Motor Works in Fairfield, CT Mileage: 152,469 *New Battery *Brakes: Removed brake calipers, removed brake rotors, fronts & rears, resurfaced all 4 rotors & replaced front & rear brake pads & sensors *Timing, Camshaft & Water Pump: Removed necessary parts to access timing belt. Replaced timing belt, timing belt roller & tensioner roller. Replaced water pump & lower tensioner rollers. The following parts were replaced: Toothed Belt, Timing 85, Camshaft Belt Rollers, Timing Belt, Water Pump, Water Pump Gasket, Radiator Conditioner & Anti-Freeze added. Tune Up: Replaced fuel filter, seals, spark plug ignition wire set, air filter, spark plugs, cap & rotor. Fuel injector cleaner added. Cost: $4,602.90 Service: 12/08/05 Car had vibration. Motor mounts replaced, both sides. Cost: $1,047.09 More Recent Service preformed by Newtown Car Care Center: 07/14/09: *Fuel drained & replaced with new, oil change, oil filter & full lube. Tire pressure checked, belts & hoses checked, topped all fluids, injector cleaner added, battery replaced. Cost: $364.89 10/20/09 *Fuel tank drained & fuel line replaced with new.
