I was planning on keeping this car for a long time - - but I’m departing the area because of a job promotion. I would take this car with me but the area of the U.S. where I'm heading to does not have CNG filling stations available. I’ve had this car since January 2007 and it had 87,500 miles on it when I got it - - the odometer now shows 115,500 - always a non-smoker car. I’m the first registered owner of the car. This vehicle stared life as a supervisor’s vehicle for the Connecticut State Police and was ordered from the factory with the extended CNG tanks - - this car was not a “patrol car” but a take-home car for a police supervisor. The roof and trunk have the factory black rubber plugs from where the lightbar and radio antenna were supposed to be mounted. I hunted down the factory alloy wheels that would have come on a regular Crown Victoria - - I still have all four police wheels, center caps and an extra alloy wheel just in case. I’m not a mechanic so I have all the repair receipts - - rebuilt front end, new heater core, new rotors and pads, new battery, two new tires this year - - really too much to mention. This vehicle has the factory paint - - a few dings and scratches here and there but nothing major. Now for the real reason you’re reading this ad to this point - - ride in the HOV lane SOLO or if HOV is not your bag - - pay less for fuel.
