Offering a beautiful and meticulously cared for 2001 F650 GS. No expense has been spared to maintain and upgrade this true adventure bike. I am selling it because I bought its big brother a R1200GSA. The bike has the following new items or upgrades less than 100 miles ago: New : Metzler Tourance tires and tubes, new sprocket and chain, rebuilt Brembo calipers, new Galfer wave rotors and Galfer black and green pads (front and rear) new braided Galfer brake lines, complete overhaul of front end. New fork seals, dust covers, fluid and Touratech progressive springs. New Two Brothers exhaust, new battery, K&N filters, all new fluids, new BMW fuel filter. C Bailey windscreen, BMW heated hand grips kit (not installed yet), New tank bag. New wide pegs. Features and extras: Three BMW seats, two regular and one low seat all MINT. Full set of Happy Trails welded aluminum paniers (this set is well over $1000 with the mounts) plus another set of Happy Trails L shaped bigger side paniers (not pictured). All paniers MINT. The bike runs perfectly and is ready for your next adventure. I have all of the original parts. I dont ride the bike and it needs a good home. This bike gets an honest 68 to 70 MPG average wothout trying. Great commuting bike too. I used to grocery shop with it. Lots of room and power. Cuts way down on worn seals if you ride off road. The bike comes equipped with Front and Rear ABS from the factory and the system works perfectly. The bike also has both the Dakar and the optional extra engine guard. This engine is water cooled with electric fans, and it is fuel injected. The engine is manufactured by ROTAX for BMW and it has a single cylinder. It is a four cycle engine.
