* Note: There is NO odometer discrepancy; The title, and records support this fact. This is an error on Ebay's part. Up for sale is a 1989 BMW 325 IS, with only 51k original, fully documented miles, making it one of the cleanest E30 examples around. I have all the service records for the car since its inception all the way till present day . Along with the records, the car also has the original sales brochure. It has been maintained mostly by the local BMW dealership, and a local independent BMW repair facility. I have had the car for about 3 years, it has been a car used for pleasure to keep wear and tear down. The E 30 was purchased brand new from BMW of Honolulu and was owned by the original owners since 2007. I am the 3rd owner, and had purchased the car from the original owner's son who drove the car on certain occasions. This E30 was maintained by the original owners as well as myself and has been used primarly as a second/weekend car its whole life, which have kept the miles down. It is all original and has never been modified. Mechanical The E30 has been meticulously maintained by the orginal owners along with myself, which has resulted in attention given to possibly every aspect of the mechanical interworkings of the vehicle. The inline-6 has vigorous stamina and roars down the road. The motor runs incredibly strong, with absolutely zero interior rattles. The car does not overheat, burn oil, or have fluid leaks of any kind. The timing belt service was done November of last year along with the valve adjustment, which are two very important service procedures that allow a car to run with uninteruppted vitality. The Clutch is very good, and does not slip, giving it a ride that is silky smooth. There is no play in the drive shaft, and the guibo is in healthy condition. The suspension is nice and healthy, so much so that there are no vibrations,even when the car reaches 55mph. It also has the 3.73 IS Limited Slip differntial. Bilstein struts have been recently installed, so it really is well sorted in that department. The car brakes are strong with no vibration, squeaks or pulling. The Exhaust system has no leaks, and sounds very healthy. The electrics are in perfect working order, and all the gauges in the cluster work well. The trip computer works as it should and there are no lights that are marked as "ON" within the check system aside from the normal brake light check that turns on and off when the brakes are stepped on. It has an Alpine cd player with i-pod hook up, however, I kept the original radio and will be given with the car. Body/Interior The body is all original, and has never been painted or been in an accident. The car has original paint, which shines with resounding beauty. *The odometer works normally and has never stopped turning, which is a common E30 issue. There is no rust on the car, with no rust on areas that are commonly prone to rusting. The vin stickers on the body panels are all present. This is by far one of my favorite colors on an E30 precisely because it oozes class and sophistication. All the badges are original and have not succumbed to fading. The Basketweaves are in excellent condition. The Power Sunroof works great, sliding, and tilting as it should. The interior is spotless, with the dash having no cracks. The seats function efficiently, tilting, reclining and releasing forward and back with ease. The Leather is very supple, having no wear and tear. There is some discoloration on the bolster of the driver's seat, but that is normal, and can be easily rectified with a simple seat redye. The back seat looks like they've never been sat in! I condition the leather regularly, which has resulted in soft and supple leather. The interior still smells new! The windows work as they should, and the rear quarter panel windows pop open with ease. The original full-sized Basket weave spare is also included with the car, along with all the tools and a new battery. Below is a quick overview of the car: -Inline 6 is in great shape, pulls very hard, no overheating issues, no leaks. Very healthy motor -Transmission is in good shape, no popping out of gear, no grinding, works as it should - Has so Much power and torque -Drive shaft in good shape, no vibrations, no clunking. Very solid -Brakes work good, no noises or grinding -Suspension is very nice, no vibrations at highway speed, no clunking, very smooth -Clutch Is good, no slipping, and no play -51k fully documented miles -IS model -Body is in excellent shape -Original paint - Very nice color combo Lachssilber metallic/ Black leather interior -Recaro sport seats in leather, very good shape - Has M-tech Steering wheel - No cracks on dash - Original tool kit in trunk -Cold A/C, has been converted to R134 -Couple of small minor paint chips on rear bumper (see pictures) This is a great and deeply loved 325is. These cars are extremely hard to come by in such immaculate condition. I have owned many BMWs as well as E30s and this is the nicest E30 I have ever had. I have never had the heart to modify because its just beautiful, and majestic the way it is.
