Vehicle Detail

Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 1958 Chevrolet Brookwood Stationwagon You are viewing a 1958 Brookwood Stationwagon. The `58 Brookwood is difficult to find in any condition because it is the 1st and only year for this design model, the incoming 1959 were an all new design lasting until 1962. Also, 1st year for the Brookwood Model, only to be seen until 1961 and again in its final run in 1969 – 1973, after that GM ended the Brookwood line. As you can see, the wagon needs restoration but it is very complete. Floor pans needs replacing which is quite common with most Chevy’s of this era and are easily attained and very reasonable in price. Missing back passenger side window, which is, flat glass and easily obtained and the rest in good shape except for cracking on the passenger side doors and the front driver’s side – all flat glass. 283 V-8 with 2 speed Powerglide Automatic transmission which looks to be original. Below is the VIN and Cowl Tag decoded; D58S103095 D = Brookwood Wagon 58 = Year – 1958 S = St. Louis, MO - Assembly Plant 103095 – Production Number Style 58 – 1958 Year Model 1693 – 4 door Stationwagon Body No. – S Fischer Body Code Trim – 804 = Gunmetal and Silver vinyl Paint – 930A STL = Silver Blue Two Tone This Brookwood wagon is a great start for a restoration project and the fact that it was produced only in 1958 truly sets it apart.
