Vehicle Detail
This is a nice 1973 Dodge Challenger with matching numbers 340 and auto transmission that spent its life in California until about 2 years ago. It is very solid and has the original paint. There is very little body work that is needed to paint the car. The surface rust that is on the hood and trunk does not have any pits. Every part of this car is very solid with all original panels and all the panels and doors line up great. The doors do not sag at all. The trunk lid has a dent in the top other than that there are no major dents or dings. All the trim around the windows is in great shape but the trunk trim has dents in it. You will not find many original bodies in this good of shape. The car did have a vinyl top on the car and it is painted in primer black now and it was in great shape under the top. All the parts on this car are original. The interior is all there and some of this will need to be fixed or replaced. It has a rally dash in it with a 3 speaker dash pad that has cracks in it. All the door panels are in great shape and the front seats were just recovered but the back seat will need to be recovered. I have a new headliner and carpet that are black like the rest of the interior. The radio is missing. The auto transmission was just rebuilt and the motor ran when the transmission was pulled out but I would rebuild it to be safe. Everything is there for the motor and transmission other than the torque converter. All the A/C parts are on the car and it looks like the original carburetor is on the motor. All the original door and engine stickers on still on the car you can see them in the pictures. The sticker on the backside of the trunk lid is there also. The only parts that I know are missing are the original 340 air cleaner, the radio, and the torque converter but I am sure there are some small parts missing. For the most part the car is still together other than the transmission is in the trunk. The pictures do not show how solid and original this car really is.
