Vehicle Detail
Bike is complete with the exception of right side cover. There is no title. I bought it from a gentleman in Cairo, Ga. It had been setting in his shed for some time. It ran on one cylinder and upon disassembly, I found moisture in one carburetor. I cleaned and painted the frame, motor and swing arm. All the chrome parts are rusty but there. One of the forks have rust on the shaft. My intentions were to build a Cycleworld 555 cafe bike but I could not get any more interest and I lost interest myself. I have a rough fiberglas rear tail section that needs work. I also purchased rearsets off a Honda 650. The motor alone is worth the buy it now price. If it doesn't sell together, it will be parted out. Feel free to ask any questions. Additional pictures upon request. Buyer responsible for any shipping. Local pick up available. Payment can be made through PayPal. Have a fairly new Dunlop tire for the rear, included. On May-18-10 at 04:10:19 PDT, seller added the following information:Please note that this is a project/parts bike. It's not a simple puzzle. Parts will need to be cleaned up, re chromed / painted. Most of the chrome parts have of some degree of surface rust. The exhaust has a small hole in the muffler that I believe can be fixed undetected. Some of the cables have cracked housings. A previous owner made a few additions in the wiring harness. Most likely to accommodate the mini-apehanger handlebars. The rear "cafe" tail / seat section will require some fiberglas refurbishing. I'm trying to list everything I can think of. This bike is typical of a 38 year old bike that has not been touched in many years. I will be glad to answer any and all questions. I own another old bike that I am concentrating my efforts on.
