This is a 4 door SUV with push button 4 wheel drive and someone (WHY NOT YOU?) is going to make a great buy on this vehicle. This SUV has been Adult Owned and Driven by the same woman since she bought the vehicle in december of 1997 when it had 38,596 miles on it. Today the odometer shows 124,900 miles driven and it is time to find this FORD SUV a new home. This SUV has not been smoked in. This Explorer has always been professionally serviced and has required very little in the way of maintenance or repairs. The Oil has always been changed every 3 to 4000 miles or every 6 months ..... even if the vehicle had traveled less than 1000 miles. This is a very good example of an original unmolested 1994 FORD Explorer XLT. It would not be offered up FOR SALE now.......... except the owner has moved to smaller quarters and cannot keep it indoors any longer. Since the owner has lived in the Coachella Valley in southern california since this Ford was purchased in 1997, it has rarely seen rain and never snow. This is the NO RUST SUV that you cannot find in many climates. It is fully equipped and the Air Conditioner blows COLD. The 4.0 Litre 6 cylinder engine is smooth running and coupled with the Automatic transmission this SUV is easy to drive for anyone. Next we will show you photos of the engine compartment and interior. The interior is bone stock ....... and needs nothing more than a good detailing................... ***** I took a look under the front seat seat covers and the seats look good with only a few splits. Not bad for a 16 year old SUV that is for sure. With a good shampooing and detail the interior will look as close to new and original as a 1994 with 124,900 miles could be. Even the top of the dash is not cracked as most are at this age. Heck, even the clock still works! ................. Except for a front fender that was replaced after a low speed collision with a mailbox (the owner swears the mailbox jumped in front of the car)........ this explorer is as original as can be. It has been a good reliable vehicle and should remain so with routine maintenance and care....................... ****** The tires are at about 50 to 60 % of tread left. I have seen these explorers priced all over the map ....... from a few hundred dollars on up to what I think is crazy at over $3500.00 ............. but we will leave the value of this SUV up to you ......... our eBay customers. Not much and I am not kidding. The 2 electric windows on the rear doors need regulators. Not a big fix but it should be done to use those windows. The bracket that holds the shock for the rear hatch that keeps it open needs to be replaced. NOT THE SHOCK ...... just the bracket that holds the shock. That is about it...................
