I am selling my 1965 Bonneville Convertible reluctantly because I am moving across country and cant take it with me options sell or store and come back next year to get it 1500 miles one way so I am going to sell it but if I cant get a decent price I will store it . The Bonneville came from California over 10 years ago been off the road in California since 1978 Had 38,000 miles on it when parked in the original owners back yard to become a lawn ornament.Owner did not like the color and changed it to a dark aqua GM color .This is a very Special car it was a factory executive car and was made with THE RARE SPECIAL ORDER IRIS MIST PAINT A VERY LIGHT PURPLE and white top and White Leather interior very desirable color combo very solid no panel rust through .Frame is nice and floors solid except a softball size hole under the rear seat where water sat when the top went bad and dry rotted .Trunk floor is solid maybe some pin holes . Body is VERY STRAIGHT except a small dent in the rear bumper and the trim panel on the rear you can see this in the pictures .It has 65 Grand Prix Bucket seats and floor shift with console with a floor shift steering column to convert to floor shift currently column shift with tilt wheel. It will need tires but they do hold air to load on trailer or truck. I just installed a 70,000 mile 1966 389 4 Barrel engine with a new CARTER FACTORY REBUILT CARB that was done over 20 years ago and never used .Also has been totally cleaned and painted and BRAND NEW reproduction factory Chrome valve covers from AMES PERFORMANCE . The motor and trans are all bolted in but all components need to be attached like P.S. Pump,Alt,fuel pump,Exhaust manifolds ,pullies,fan.starter.All parts are there to finish assembly including the radiator. All trim is there and in nice condition . The car also has a BRAND NEW WINDIELD INSTALLED IN IT..Here are the options PAINT,RARE CLIMATE CONTROL AIR CONDITIONING,TILT WHEEL ,POWER STEERING ,POWER BRAKES,REEL OUT TRUNK LIGHT, 6 WAY POWER ORIGINAL SEAT COMES WITH IT ALSO,RADIO REVERB,POWER ANTENNA,POWER WINDOWS AND ALSO VERY RARE POWER VENT WINDOWS ON THE DOORS,ALSO HAS THE RARE 8 LUG WHEELS. All glass is good .This is a very rare Bonneville that deserves a nice restoration;;;;;;;;;;; . There are also a bunch of extra used parts that come with it .I need to to have payment in certified check or cash at pickup .Car must be paid for within 3 days andpicked up within 10 days after auction ends.Unless I ok something different in advance.
