This is a VERY solid original, unmolested 1982 land cruiser FJ40. It has typical rust at the rear lower corners of the rear sill and light swell around the interior rear wheel well brackets otherwise this truck is COMPLETELY rust FREE! There is zero cancer anywhere else. There is some surface rust on the rear bed floor from the factory rubber mat, it looks much worse than it is, nothing that a wire wheel would not clean up. The front floorboards are immaculate, they still have the factory shiny red paint on them. The truck has spent is life in CA and CO and it shows. It has had one owner since 1983! It is completely unmolested and 100% smog compliant with no mods anywhere. The only un-original part is the older style FJ40 wheels (which I do have the hub caps for). The truck has 143,xxx org. miles. This truck runs VERY smooth and strong, 75mph is not an issue with this truck. The steering is a bit loose, the tie rod end kit through cruiser outfitters is less than $100 and should be done at some point. I can do this for the winning bidder at a decent price. The paint you see in the pics is over 20 years old and is extremely faded. Good thing about this is, what you see is what you get, there is NO hidden bondo or any attempts at body work. The orig. owner stated that the top had never been removed since his ownership in 1983 which appears to be accurate. It is not a PS or AC truck. This is not some mistery restoration for 30K. If you have been searching for a stock 79'-83' fj40, you know that a low rust, low mile, unmolested 1982 for less than 12k is a TUFF FIND! I have sold over 100 FJ40's and I am a NON-BS'er (please review my feedback to verify). The reserve is set low. I welcome anyone local to come to my shop and pick the cruiser apart befor you bid.
