This 2000 Audi A6 Sedan is Just Beautiful. This Audi was traded in on the purchase of a new car at a Local Audi New Car Dealership. This car looks so much better than it should for the year and miles. This 1 owner car was obviously well maintained and loved by the owner. The body is clean and straight, I believe this to be a garage kept sedan. This car is in above average to excellent condition. Overall, this A6 2.8 Sedan is in Beautiful Condition! Everyone who sees it comments on the look of this car and Immediately Wants To Drive It! We have personally driven this car everyday since it traded into us! We make up excuses and places to go just to drive it! Interior: The Interior of this Audi A6 Quattro 2.8 is Amazing! It has so many Options, Upgrades, and Simply Well Thought Out and Useful Options that it will be difficult for me to list them all; but allow me to try. The Interior of this Audi A6 is a Lovely Combination of Light Tan and Wood Grain with Tasteful Chrome Accents. The seats are upholstered in Vanilla/Beige Leather. The Leather is still Soft. The carpeting is a matching beige with matching floor mats. The overall interior is beautiful. All seating surfaces are clean and free from any rips or tears. The carpets and floormats are also in surprisingly good condition and free from significant stains or wear. The dash is a combination of matching beige and wood grain trim. The dash and door are accented in matching wood trim. Wood grain trim on the doors, center console and the dashboard adds a touch of warmth. The interior is in Average to Better than Average Condition! I see only normal wear that you would get with a vehicle of this age. Everything is in great working order. I have found all the power options to work as they should. The inside of this Sedan smells great. There are no funny or obnoxious odors. There are no smoke odors at all. This is a Non-Smoker, Pet Free Beautiful Sedan. The steering wheel and gear shifter are both leather and in great condition. Both are still smooth and in great condition. Power Upgrades In This Audi A6 Seem Unlimited! There is a Fully Power Sunroof with Retractable Sun Shade. You can open the Glass entirely to let the Sun and Breeze Flow In, You Can Vent The Sunroof For A Little Air Flow, Or You Can Just Slide the Shade Back To Let The Sun Shine In! This Sunroof is controlled by a dial conveniently located overhead near the front reading lights. Power Options Also Include a Dual Zone Climate Control System. Independently, Front Passengers Can Control and Set Their Temperature Controls. You Can Set the Digital Climate Control to a Specific Temperature, or you can manually over ride this and set the fan and temperature manually! There are All Power Convenience Features Such As Power Windows. In true upgraded fashion, All 4 windows are 1 Touch Power Down. There are also child lock protection for all passenger windows. Power Features Continue with Dual Power Front Seats. There is 1 Key with Integrated Keyless Entry. This Key will Lock and Un Lock All Doors Plus Pop Open the rear trunk. Overhead, mounted in the driver side visor, is HomeLink Garage Door Transmitter. You can program up to three garage doors to your car. So, coming and going from your home gets even easier once these are programmed and linked together. The front visors are both lighted. When you flip the visors down, there are little door that open to expose the mirrors and turn the lights on. These doors keep the mirrors clean and ready for use. I do notice that the clip for the driver side visor is broken but no big deal and barely noticeable. Drive with Comfort and Ease with an Automatic Transmission, Speed Control aka Cruise Control, Digital Climate Control with Dual Zones for Front Passengers, and Leather Steering. Power Controls continue with the Exterior Side View Mirrors which are power adjustable. There are front passenger height adjustable shoulder belts and all 5 passenger height adjustable headrests. Entertainment System: This Audi A6 Sedan has a Fully Loaded Entertainment System! The radio is a Factory Upgraded Bose System. So, the Upgraded Speakers, Amplifier, and Head Unit all combine for amazing sound quality! Even with the Windows Down and Sunroof Open, The Radio is Crisp, Clear, and Easy to Hear. There is an in dash cassette player, CD Player and AM FM Radio. The Radio Features RDS so it displays the name of the Station, Song Playing and Artist Playing. This will also display in the gauge panel so you don’t have to look over to see it! The Gauge Display Area Houses a Special Surprise! It displays the RDS radio information in the center of the front display. This Display also shows the exterior temperature, the gear the transmission is in, and driver information such as miles to empty! I did notice that there is pixelation in this display. Sometimes it is difficult to read. Storage: This Audi is Loaded with Storage Options. Both General Space realized from the Practical Full Size Sedan Combines with Innovative Design to add in more Subtle Yet Practical storage options. First, A Full Size Sedan Adds Space. The additional space from the practical design of the spacious trunk and Flip down rear seats allows for more items, larger items, and taller items inside the rear cargo area. The rear Bench Seat offers several surprises. The center arm rest in the rear bench seat folds down for rear passenger riding comfort, but it is also practical. There is a Factory First Aid Kit located in the storage compartment of this flip down arm rest. This rear bench seat also is a 70/30 split bench. This rear seat flips down in two sections to accommodate larger items. More subtle storage is through out this Audi A6! The 2.8 Quattro if full of storage surprises. My favorite are in the passenger door pockets. All four doors have storage pockets, the front driver door and the front passenger doors have 2 and two rear doors have one. These pockets actually pull out from the door for increased room and easier sorting and removing of your items inside. The Front Glove box is lighted and lockable. The owner's manual is housed in here. There are also storage net pockets on the rear of each front seat for stashing more items. There is a pull out cup holder located in the dash just above the radio. There is a flip up cup holder on the center console. I notice that the flip up cup holder won’t lock back down in the closed position, but it functions as it is in the up position. There is an adjustable height center armrest located between the front seats. It is padded for added comfort and opens to expose more storage area. This armrest will also push all the way up and out of the way if you don’t want to use the armrest. There is a front ashtray that appears unused and an ac power source. On the drivers side door jam are two buttons, one that opens the trunk and one that is a sensor. The trunk release button cover is missing (we see this in most A6's). I also noticed that the cupholder in between the seats does not stay down. Each front passenger door has two door storage cubbies. Each cubby has a pull out door for expandable storage. So, there are 2 cubbies on each front door. The rear passenger doors also have an expandable, pull out storage cubby on each door. So, you get 6 storage door pockets in total. There are also two storage nets on the back of each front driver seat. There are four passenger entry handles. There are also two clothes in the rear of this sedan. These recessed mounted and flush to the ceiling for a very clean look when not in use. Otherwise, they flip down for easy use. For easier driving, there is Cruise Control aka Speed Control, located on a stalk on the left side of the steering wheel. Overhead for the rear seat passengers is a set of ready and entry lights. This is a nice upgrade from a single overhead light and an nice upgrade from a single, small light on each side. On the back of the center console is another AC Power Source. Upon close inspection, you will not find any major issues with the interior of this sedan. The only thing is the normal wear and tear. Again, the pictures convey this vehicle well. This is a comfortable driving sedan. Exterior: The exterior of this Audi A6 2.8 Luxury Sedan is just as nice as the interior. So, again, you are looking at an Above Average Condition for a 2000 model, Proud to Drive, Sporty Sedan! I Can't Say It Enough, this car looks Fantastic! The outside is a classy combination of Green Metallic Paint, Factory 16” Alloy Wheels, and Overall Excellent Condition. If you have realistic expectations, you will be thrilled with this 2000 Audi. This Audi is riding on a set of 16” Factory Alloys with 205/55/R16 tires that just passed state inspection with no problem. The wheels are in good condition, they may have a little usual wear or curb chew but nothing significant. There is a spare tire recess mounted in the trunk. The exterior is a Sharp and Classy Green Metallic Color. The paint is Shiny, Glossy, and in, again for a 2000 model, Great Condition! This 1 Owner, Clean Carfax Sedan does not show any indications of paint or body work anywhere on this car. The exterior of this Audi is set off with a sleek, smooth, consistent look. All the body panels are painted to match the green body color. Door Handles, bumpers, and moldings are all painted gray, the same as the primary body color. This consistency creates an expensive and classy look. The only off set color is introduced with the touches of subtle chrome accent. Subtle Chrome colored accents dress up the front grill with the iconic Audi 4 ring emblem. Chrome accents on the rear trunk are A6, 2.8, and the Iconic 4 Ring Icon. Driving Impressions: The driving impressions of this Audi are much like the First Impressions, WOW! I cannot believe how smooth this car drives. Honestly, it is one of the smoothest driving cars I have ever had the honor of driving. The transmission is so smooth that you don't even feel the shift pattern, not even when passing another vehicle. The Engine is strong and smooth. The brakes are all firm with no pulsating, the Alignment is Straight and True. There is nothing wrong with this car, it drives like a new car! I cannot say anything wrong about how this car drives. My mechanic said it best when he described the drivability of this car as Effortless! Under the Hood: This Audi A6 has a 2.8L V6 Engine with 200 HP. It drives and runs smoothly and exactly as it should. The brakes are smooth and the alignment is true. Overall, the A6 is a super road car that also excels in performance. Audi’s transmission works with satisfying subtlety, delivering a smooth and steady speed increase with no feel of the gear changes. Because the engine is quiet, you don’t keep listening for a shift to occur. Steering response is quick and precise. A person could hardly ask for more than the A6’s smooth yet tautly secure ride.
