NO RESERVE!!!!! Hello and Greetings to all . I have here a 1969 true California Volkswagen Beetle that I just had painted and just paid all registration and title and had this inspected by the California DMV and all Vin's Match so this is not a cobble job and has No replacement panels or patch panels and all German steel . All the glass is good and is tinted and is the cal look without the vent window ( see pictures and video) and lights, brakes,clutch shifting is all as it should be and works great. This was going to be my personal car but I picked up a 65 beetle convertible instead.This car was being built to be a show car and the previous owner had all the interior done a few years ago and it sat . I purchased the car and completed what he started but I did not intend this to be a show car , just a really nice beetle. I restore beetles and I pass up many more then I ever buy and spend a lot of time doing the leg work and many hours and days on the road to find only quality beetles and no junk. Once I bought the beetle I I built a 1835 cc dual port big bore engine using big bore heads and the pistons and jugs are 92's . As you can see from the pictures this is fresh and ready to run . I also backed it up with new clutch,pressure plate , throw out barring and a high dollar Weber dual carb set which is 2 2 bbls.If you do not know what all that means, a stock Volkswagen engine for 69 would be a 1300 or a 1500 and maybe a 1600 cc . This is 235 cc bigger with bigger heads and valves then the 1600 which is the biggest beetle motor made. So be prepared for a powerful motor and not a grocery getter like most. This car is also lowered and has all billet aluminum assessaries such as door handles , locks ,dash pieces and much much more. It also has a high dollar gate shifter and the interior in my opinion which means the door panels ,seats and headliner as well as the dash components is show quality but check out video and pictures and decide for yourself. You and I may or may not agree and that is fine. You are bidding against other people that have the same video and come in person to view the car or hire an independent inspector prior to end of auction and you and others are the one that dictates the price. I do not want anybody bidding up the car and then if it either goes past what you have saved to buy it or if it is not that $20,000.00 car you thought they could steal for $6,000.00 that is not my problem and all feedback must be based on my honest description of the car and video . I do not and will not hide anything but all bidders need to ask questions or request other pictures that may not be clear to them as I will not be held liable and do not assume anything . I can't read people minds and don't know what their expectations are. Have realistic expectations on a 41 year old vehicle . they were not perfect the day they rolled off the showroom floor and this does not have a mirror finish like you would find on a $5,000 or $6,000 paint job not he car just the paint job. This looks very nice but have imperfections and is driver or cruiser quality but not show quality by any means. If your diffinition is different then mine you need to ask questions and please come see it in person.. Ok to sum this up , the interior was done a few years ago and was never used . The engine was just installed on the 13th of May and the car was just painted. It is as new as it can possibly get and it even has new paint smell. Also many small items , gravel guards front and back, beading,eyebrows , door chrome and much more have been added new. Rebuilt 1835 dual port engine New Weber dual carbs (could use taller air cleaners) New clutch, pressure plate,throw out barring New Paint Terms :deposit of $550.00 by paypal is due immediately after auctions end or when my business partner back east is able to send over the invoice and is non refundable as I don't see any portion of this money as he handles ebay end of things.Also this car comes with Clear California title in my name .Please allow up to 10 days for the title to be sent from Sacramento . These terms are the same terms as I have used on all other sales with good feedback so if you do not agree with any terms simply do not bid. I can easily sell the car in the newspaper but am giving everyone a chance to own a California beetle. If you are new I will help you all the way through but my terms must be followed to the letter. After deposit full payment must be made by either cash in person, bank certified check over nighted or bank wire transfer no later then 3 days or 72 hours from auctions end. The car is located in Paso Robles on the central coast of California 93446 and will need either picked up here or transported at buyers expense only. Also insurance needs to be placed on vehicle once payments have been made and the title sent. Once payment has cleared this car is yours even while waiting for a transporter or sitting in my driveway , it is your responsibility for insurance. I will not be held liable for buyer negligence in purchasing proper insurance. Hagerty Insurance will insure these classics with a good picture and vin for very little but again at buyers expense. Also this is a as is sale and all sales are final. If any mechanical break downs happens prior to car being picked up or transported we will make any and all repairs if needed. I only state this as there is always that unforeseen dead battery , flat tire or whatever else and I will not just leave you hanging but once the car has been taken possession by transporter or by person there is no warranty guarantees expressed or implied. I will bend over backwards to make this an easy transaction for the both of us and shipping oversea's I can help with that . If for any reason you can't meet the terms please contact me prior to bidding or simply don't bid.You can come in person or have have an independent inspection done prior to bidding or winning auction and last but not least when in doubt ask as many questions as possible please do not assume anything.
