You Are Bidding On A *1970 MERCURY MONTEGO MX 2 DR. Hard Top Brougham* This is a Rare vehicle, I have researched this vehicle briefly and I have found that that there were only about 8500 made. I am selling this car for my brother he found it sitting in a barn and bought it with high hopes of bringing it back to life. Unfortunately due to changes with his job he will not have enough time to restore this car to it's full potential. The people he purchased it from claim it is a one owner and the miles are original. This Montego is rough but has potential to be a Great Project car for the right person. The Drivers side window is broken out and there is rust on the roof of the car however I do not see any cancer around fenders , the vynil top is torn almost completely off and There is no exhaust system from the manifold back. This car DOES NOT RUN!! and I am unsure of what it would require to get it up and running. The motor is a 351 and it is an automatic transmission.
