You can now own a car that is getting hard to find, is rare and comes with the original leather bound owners manual. The Allanté was initially priced at $54,700 in 1987 dollars ! This was far above the price of any other contemporary Cadillac. The 1987 Cadillac Allanté was the first roadster for Cadillac with a removable aluminum hardtop. The 1987 Cadillac Allante was a stunning body style in 1987 and still is some 23 years later !! The body of the Allanté was designed and built in Italy by Pininfarina (of Ferrari fame). The completed bodies were shipped 3,300 miles from Italy in specially-equipped Boeing 747s, 56 at a time, to Cadillac's assembly plant in Hantramck, Michigan. The bodies were then mated to the chassis at the Cadillac Assembly plant. This led to a few interesting nicknames, such as "The Flying Italian Cadillac" and "The world's longest assembly line". 1987 was the first year for the new Cadillac Allante and they tell me its the year to have. This is a DRY - SOLID Idaho high mountain desert car. In my opinion your not going to find much nicer original floors than the ones on this car. If you can make it to Boise in the next ten days please come look at and drive this car for yourself, I think you would be pleased ! It appears to have the Original Multi-port Fuel Injected version of Cadillac's 4.1 Litre HT 4100 V8 along with roller valve lifters, high-flow cylinder heads and a tuned port intake manifold. The new roadster also showcased an independent front and rear strut-based suspension system. Bosch ABS III four-wheel disc brakes were also standard. The engine is backed by a smooth "F7" four speed Automatic Transmission which also functions well. The BEAUTIFUL Buckskin tan and Dark Brown Leather Interior is in NICE condition with NICE front Recarro Leather Bucket seats, good original steering wheel, good door panels, NICE original gauge cluster, NICE original dash and dash pad. The Autumn Gold/Green exterior paint is BEAUTIFUL with some small chips and imperfections showing but is still bright and shiny and looks EYE POPPING BEAUTIFUL as you can see in the pictures. The Buckskin Tan and dark brown interior and the contrasting Autumn Gold/Green exterior is a GREAT color combination ! How could you get any better !! Check out the original black convertible top which has the correct glass rear window but is currently not fully latching in the back but would keep you dry if you got caught out with the hard top off !! It looks like the little power pull down motor in the center of the back of the soft top is not working which pulls the back of the soft top snug with the body. It has the original Aluminum hard top which is in good shape. This Car is a great runner and a real nice looker. I drove this car as my everday driver to and from the office and running errands as needed and it ran and drove GREAT ! Talk about an attention getter, everywhere I went people wanted to know what kind of car it was and how beautiful of a car they thought it was !! This car is nicely equipped as you would expect, including factory automatic climate control system, power steering, power windows, power door locks, dual 6 way power front seat's/ with memory, fully adjustable head restraints, tilt and telescoping steering wheel, cruise control, twilight headlight sentinel, dimming headlight sentinal, remote trunk lid release, motorized remote exterior mirrors, delayed windshield wipers, power ABS brakes with FACTORY 4 WHEEL DISC BRAKES, original front three point seat belts, exterior cornering lights, Bose/Delco Symphony Sound System Am Fm stereo cassette tape player with aftermarket JVC CD changer with remote control and the original clock and power antenna. This Cadillac has great looks and GREAT power with good gas mileage to boot! There are not many of these left on the roads for sure ! These vehicles have an appreciative group of owners any of which would be pleased to own this one. The suspension and drive line seem to be in good working order as well as the electrical system. The car also sports Nice original Cadillac aluminum sport wheels and nearly new steel belted radial tires. It also has a nice fully carpeted trunk compartment. This vintage luxury roadster is a good investment opportunity and it is priced right ! This vehicle is in good condition from top to bottom and from front to back. It will not disappoint someone looking for a good example of a sought after and hard to find collector car which is not seen at every stop light for sure. If you have been looking but cannot find a Classic Cadillac Roadster worthy of your hard earned money look NO further because this is the one ! This vehicle is in nice mechanical condition and it runs and drives WELL !! The vehicle is solid with respect to the overall mechanical condition as well as the overall cosmetic impression. This is an AWESOME 1987 Cadillac Allante Roadster that is RARE indeed as they only made 3,363 of them in 1987 ! You can now own a car that is getting hard to find, is rare and comes with the original leather bound owners manual. The Allanté was initially priced at $54,700 in 1987 dollars ! This was far above the price of any other contemporary Cadillac. The 1987 Cadillac Allanté was the first roadster for Cadillac with a removable aluminum hardtop. The 1987 Cadillac Allante was a stunning body style in 1987 and still is some 23 years later !! The body of the Allanté was designed and built in Italy by Pininfarina (of Ferrari fame). The completed bodies were shipped 3,300 miles from Italy in specially-equipped Boeing 747s, 56 at a time, to Cadillac's assembly plant in Hantramck, Michigan. The bodies were then mated to the chassis at the Cadillac Assembly plant. This led to a few interesting nicknames, such as "The Flying Italian Cadillac" and "The world's longest assembly line". 1987 was the first year for the new Cadillac Allante and they tell me its the year to have. This is a DRY - SOLID Idaho high mountain desert car. In my opinion your not going to find much nicer original floors than the ones on this car. If you can make it to Boise in the next ten days please come look at and drive this car for yourself, I think you would be pleased !

It appears to have the Original Multi-port Fuel Injected version of Cadillac's 4.1 Litre HT 4100 V8 along with roller valve lifters, high-flow cylinder heads and a tuned port intake manifold. The new roadster also showcased an independent front and rear strut-based suspension system. Bosch ABS III four-wheel disc brakes were also standard. The engine is backed by a smooth "F7" four speed Automatic Transmission which also functions well. The BEAUTIFUL Buckskin tan and Dark Brown Leather Interior is in NICE condition with NICE front Recarro Leather Bucket seats, good original steering wheel, good door panels, NICE original gauge cluster, NICE original dash and dash pad. The Autumn Gold/Green exterior paint is BEAUTIFUL with some small chips and imperfections showing but is still bright and shiny and looks EYE POPPING BEAUTIFUL as you can see in the pictures. The Buckskin Tan and dark brown interior and the contrasting Autumn Gold/Green exterior is a GREAT color combination ! How could you get any better !! Check out the original black convertible top which has the correct glass rear window but is currently not fully latching in the back but would keep you dry if you got caught out with the hard top off !! It looks like the little power pull down motor in the center of the back of the soft top is not working which pulls the back of the soft top snug with the body. It has the original Aluminum hard top which is in good shape. This Car is a great runner and a real nice looker. I drove this car as my everday driver to and from the office and running errands as needed and it ran and drove GREAT ! Talk about an attention getter, everywhere I went people wanted to know what kind of car it was and how beautiful of a car they thought it was !!

This car is nicely equipped as you would expect, including factory automatic climate control system, power steering, power windows, power door locks, dual 6 way power front seat's/ with memory, fully adjustable head restraints, tilt and telescoping steering wheel, cruise control, twilight headlight sentinel, dimming headlight sentinal, remote trunk lid release, motorized remote exterior mirrors, delayed windshield wipers, power ABS brakes with FACTORY 4 WHEEL DISC BRAKES, original front three point seat belts, exterior cornering lights, Bose/Delco Symphony Sound System Am Fm stereo cassette tape player with aftermarket JVC CD changer with remote control and the original clock and power antenna. This Cadillac has great looks and GREAT power with good gas mileage to boot! There are not many of these left on the roads for sure !

These vehicles have an appreciative group of owners any of which would be pleased to own this one. The suspension and drive line seem to be in good working order as well as the electrical system. The car also sports Nice original Cadillac aluminum sport wheels and nearly new steel belted radial tires. It also has a nice fully carpeted trunk compartment. This vintage luxury roadster is a good investment opportunity and it is priced right ! This vehicle is in good condition from top to bottom and from front to back. It will not disappoint someone looking for a good example of a sought after and hard to find collector car which is not seen at every stop light for sure.
