Up for auction is my 1968 Toyota Land Cruiser. I started this project a few years ago and now have a wedding rapidly approaching so it must go. This thing is so close to being completed I hate to let it go. Please stop by and see this in person and we can go for a drive. This Cruiser is freshly painted with the same copper/orange color that Land Rover uses. The hard top is adorned outside with a uv protected liner while the inside has a new headliner that cuts down on road noise and looks great. The fender wells, underside of hood, and interior floor boards are all lined as well to help keep the wear and rust away. The front bench seat and the two rear jumpseats have been reapholstered. Under the hood is a 1972 chevy 350 motor with 3 speed transmission. I had new exhaust installed as well. The (warn) lockouts are new too. New radiator, and alternator also. I put on a new roof rack with spare holder, grill guard and custom swing away spare tire holder. Also included in the is the auxillary fuel tank (uninstalled), four wheel which resemble stock, bikini top, and doors. The few things left for you to complete this project include, new glass for the instrument pannel, adjust the brakes, and install the kit I bought that will tighten up the transfer case shifting. It works fine, just everyonce in awhile it will pop out of gear. There is a very small tear on the back of one of the jump seats and the passenger window is difficult to roll up as well. The only rust is on the frame but it is only surface rust. It has been undercoated at some point in its life and has done a great job protecting it.The mileage listed is what is on the odometer but I can't say if that is original or not. The reserve is low to sell so please serious buyers only. I have put alot of work and money into this vehicle and will be sad to see it go, but I would rather picture it being enjoyed. I can help out on the pickup of the vehicle if the distance is reasonable will meet in the middle. The cruiser is more than able to drive home with you but with all of the extras a trailer may be the way to go.
