Vehicle Detail
I'm selling my 1997 Ford F-350 (F350) 2 Dr. pickup truck, 4x4, 7.3L Powerstroke Diesel, Auto, A/C, Power windows, Power locks, Engine block heater, 155k miles. White with upgraded gray cloth interior. 8' Bed with bedliner. Sliding rear window. Comes with a 7-1/2' Western Uni-mount plow with hand-held controller. The plow is in good shape with no major rust. The plastic housing on one of the plow lights is cracked, so it is taped up to hold it in place. It's easy to replace. The truck also has a heavy duty tow hitch and a trailer brake controller mounted in the cab. The 4 Wheel Drive works perfectly. It has a Tommy-Lift heavy duty liftgate installed that only needs the fluid reservoir replaced to be fully functional (there is a small hole in it that caused the fluid to leak out). The truck was used as a work truck for my landscaping business for pulling a trailer with lawn mowers and equipment, but only used to plow for 1 winter. It has dual fuel tanks that work perfectly and brand new brake lines, with recent new glow plugs. It is is good overall shape with the exception of some damage to the right rear of the bed that was done by someone backing into a tree during plowing. It could use a couple new tires and maybe an alignment. The only other issue is I believe it needs a headlight switch because the high beams work, but the low beams don't. But, the plow lights work fine when the plow is hooked up. This is a common problem with these trucks and I only just noticed it because I never drove it at night. The interior is in really good shape with only a couple small tears on the dash and the glovebox doesn't close all the way. If you don't need the liftgate, it can be easily unbolted and a regular tailgate installed. The whole truck is very solid with no rust-through anywhere, including the common rust areas like the bed, wheel wells, and cab corners. It has heavy duty suspension and has tons of power and torque. It pulls a fully loaded trailer with no problem. These turbo diesels can go for 500,000 miles or more. This would make a great plow truck or work truck and someone is going to get a great deal on a hard working diesel. I hate to sell it, but I am getting out of the business and don't need it anymore. It is also listed for sale locally, so I reserve the right to end the auction early. Please contact me with any questions. Thanks and good luck. To be fair to the legitimate bidders who really want to buy the truck, I will cancel any bids made by new members with no feedback who don't contact me first. Thank you.
