Just in time for summer! This is a good looking eye catching Corvette that gets looks and comments everywhere I go. It is a one owner 1984 C4 Corvette, with a 5.7ltr stock engine (100,xxx miles), automatic transmission, 1996 rear bumper, 2004 rims, brand new drilled & slotted rotors, new dash, new starter, new battery, new cooling fan relay kit, new plugs & wires, new fuel filter, new seat covers, fresh oil change, newer carpet kit and seats, and newer Viper alarm (keyless entry). This car is a real looker! I have all the fees for the registration up to date, and is street legal until the end of June. The title is not in my name because I did not want to ruin the one owner title, but the registration has been started in my name (not completed). I received this car from a co-worker that got it from an old relative, but he had no intentions to get it on the road, so I took it in as a trade. I have had this car for almost two months, and had put it into the shop to get the new rotors, brakes, new starter, plugs, wires, cooling fan relay, fuel injector o-rings, and other miscellaneous items installed to get it back on the road in tip top running condition. The shop said it runs great, but might need an o2 sensor, left side valve cover gasket, brake light switch, and minor tune up (timing/distributor cap & rotor) soon. From my own inspection of the vehicle, it needs... back speaker grills (missing), drivers side seat belt (jammed/froze), rear tires, Minor paint and body (about six chips, one bubble on hood, and three cracks), the stereo is not hooked up, and the normal weatherstripping issues (weathered/cracking). To the best of my ability I looked over this car thoroughly, and to my knowledge this is all the car needs. But Please come by and take a look in person and ask questions. I am not an expert, nor am I a mechanic, so Please have a certified mechanic or yourself thoroughly asses this vehicle before bidding. This is a very good looking/sounding Corvette that needs little work, so please keep that in mind before bidding. Also.... by the looks of the VIN numbers, it appears to be the 265th C4 Corvette ever built. So this will definitely be a collectors classic to hold on to. Thank you On May-16-10 at 21:14:52 PDT, seller added the following information: UPDATE 2: I drove the Corvette to a friends shop today, and he he drove it around and inspected it. He told me that it "looks like there was previous body work done to the rear passenger quarter panel" (he wasn't sure if that was because of the 1996 rear end or what), he also stated that it "needs front end alignment and he heard a little ticking when turning sometimes, it will need a plug wire (it was resting on the exhaust manifold and melted a little), the MPH dial is missing some LED's and is difficult to read (the gauges might need to be rebuilt or bulbs changed), the rear passenger side neutral/reverse light needs a bulb, and it needs an air filter", as well as the other items described in the original description. As stated above... This car does need work to be in stock or daily driven condition, but has tons of potential!! I was planning on investing another $1500 to $3500 on making this car a mint classic muscle machine. I am just trying to be upfront and honest about everything this car needs or might need soon.
