Up for auction is 1974 dodge power wagon. It is a half ton, 4wd with the original 360 and auto trans. Has factory air, doesn't work but it is all there I believe. The truck runs and drives good, I used it to haul firewood and haven't driven it much on the highway. It does seem to be fairly low geared and really winds up at 55-60mph. The 4wd works really well I've used it to pull logs around, new lockout a couple years ago. The front drive shaft is shot. 4wd works good but it will vibrate going down the road in 4wd. The heater controls are shot, will switch from def to heat but the blower is on a toggle switch. The shut off switch is locked open so you can't stop heat from circulating through heater core so the heat is like always on. An inline water valve and a couple hose clamps should fix it. The pass. side floor rusted through but I have a molded repair that goes with it and the headlight dimmer switch doesn't work. Has had recent tune up and new headlamps installed and I did install helper springs in rear to carry more wood. The seat is perfect, the dash is crack free and all glass is good. Front clip is really nice for it's age the back half is a little rusty. The box is fairly solid. With it's age and low gears I'm sure it only gets about 8-10 mpg so if you come after it from any distance I'd suggest trailoring it. I believe it will make any distance all be it slow and costly. It's not cherry by any means but it has alot of use left in it. Any ?'s please ask. Buyer is responsible for pick up. Would like to see a deposit of some kind at auction close. Thanks for looking
