Silver over Black 1975 Porsche w/ Appearance Package. Over 200 + documented man hours went into a complete rebuild/restoration overthree years from 2000 thru 6/2003 over $40k in receipts/records in work/repair orders. CA smog exempt. Recent complete tune-up in thelast six months/ 500 miles that includes all fluids; timing; flow & synch of dual 44mm Webers; valve adjustment; new battery; throttle andclutch cables; new starter w/ Bosch "hot start" kit; including complete vehicle once-over/inspection; 911 15' 5-lug fuch wheels/ suspension/brakes/ master cyl. Bursch exhaust. Interior: Excellent with no cracks; Upgraded Konic Race bucket seats; Momo steering wheel and shifter; upgrades sound system.Exterior: Repainted orig. Silver during restoration; includes but not installed rear matching spoiler; updated Porsche side skirt/valances;"Frenched" front side marker during body restoration (Drivers door ding and minimal scratch to rear lid (minimal)) previous owners wifeaccidently backed her pick up into the passengers front right corner and sustained cosmetic damage nothing structural nor mechanical(repaired) any previous rust/ corrosion hell-hole concerns addressed (new battery tray installed) body stiffening applied.Engine: Removal/ shipped to 914 Experts Automotive Atlantic: Complete tear down inspection rebuilt to 2.6L; Balanced/ blue printed motor/new clutch lightened flywheel; counter balanced crank; case bored out to 103mm; much additional items documented/; Addition of remote oilcooler in front trunk with hot ducting to both wheel wells. (Fantastic addition to maintaining operating oil temp); Stainless Steel HeatExchangers and all tin replaced and powder coated Porsche Red. Looks, runs, brakes and handles great - a constantly praised vehicle that is a fine example of what a 914 should have been from the factory. Ilove 914's and I looked for nearly two (2) years for this right one.
