The Honda Pacific Coast is: Comfortable, yet nimbleSmooth, yet sportyConvenient, yet responsiveSmall, yet fast There are good reasons there is a strong cult following for this bike to this day. Do an internet search - you'll find plenty of evidence.Throw your groceries in the trunk and ride from the store, or pack it with gear and ride across the country. This Pacific Coast is 21 years old, but still rides like it is brand new. Low maintenance by design, and in experience.67,xxx loved-filled miles. You can trust this bike to take you across the country right now.The bike has always been properly maintained, and always garaged. This motorcycle was previously up for auction as ebay item #120543304459, but the "buy it now" option was executed by a non-valid buyer. Here is a message exchange from the first time around you may find helpful: w***4 asked: Any mechanical concerns ? Does it use oil ? How are the brakes and tires ? When was the engine and rear axle last serviced ? My response: Dear w***4, Great questions, thanks for your inquiry. Other than the choke cable, that I explained on the listing, there are no mechanical problems. The bike does not burn oil. It's been almost 3000 miles since the last oil and filter, and it is still full. The the state inspector tells me there is "plenty" of service left in the front brakes. They continue to work well, and there are no indications of any problems. The rear brake is a drum style - adjustable by the rider. It is less than halfway though its range of adjustment. Both tires have normal and even wear - no problems. If I were not selling the bike, I would be replacing the rear tire at the end of this season. The front tire has two or three seasons left in it. A full service was last performed at 52,000 miles. The Pacific Coast really was designed to be low-maintenance and trouble-free. It has proven to be exactly that for me.
