PLEASE BE SURE TO READ THE ENTIRE LISTING PRIOR TO BIDDING. Here is a nice 1971 Pontiac Catalina 4 door hard top sedan with a low reserve and a reasonable buy it now price. My daughter used it for a couple of years to drive to and from college. I figured it was safe car, reliable and stylish to boot! She is a conservative driver who took good care of it. This is a California car since new, still retains original blue/yellow license plates. Car has nice body and good older repaint with only minor blemishes (see photo/grill area). Vinyl top decent. Rear bumper has softball size ding, some small dings on front bumper. Other wise good/decent chrome and stainless. Interior is over all very nice. Nice seats and carpets. Dash top has some cracks on top. Newer MP3 CD stereo tucked neatly under dash. Sounds great! Has factory A/C, never got around to check it out. Belt was off the pully when I bought it however, pully does turn. Heater not currently working. Engine is good. Plenty of power. Has factory 400 small block v-8. Needs a good tune up, runs a little rough in the morning till it warms up (choke adjustment), then runs overall great! Smooth and quite. Newer master cylinder and booster. Ignition switch, key is a bit sticky and hard to turn and should be replaced or repaired. No engine or trans leaks (other then normal seepage) noticed. Runs drives and stops great for it's age, nearly 40! Car is old, no warranty. Sold as-is where is. Currently registered and clear California title. This car is NOT restored. This car is a very decent old car for it's age but, NOT perfect by any means. This is a real auction, high bidder is expected to follow through, so think before bidding. NO FIRST TIME OR NEG BIDDERS.
