Up for sale is my 2000 Honda S2000, the car ran and drove perfect until a few weeks ago. I took it in to get an oil change and they must have not put in enough oil, basically it will need the engine overhauled or replaced with a junk yard motor. If you can work on cars this is a great project that you can have running very quickly. I have sourced a motor for 1k already that needs main bearings only. This car would be a great candidate for someone who wants to autocross with it or run it at HPDE, NASA events. Or just daily drive it in the summer. Transmission shifts great and clutch grabs fine, no slipping or popping out of gear. AP1 motor with a 9k rpm redline, 6 speed Manual Trans. The interior is in great shape, the seats and convertible top were replaced not too long ago, no rips or tears anywhere. There is a pioneer stereo system installed with an Ipod hood up. Car is mainly stock no aftermarket add ons except SSR wheels(very expensive) and cross drilled slotted rotors, 2.5inch exhaust piping with stock muffler(sounds great not loud at all). Paint is in good shape minus a couple scratches/ scrapes, a couple hours with a buffer it would look new again.There are some scuff marks on front bumper. Not looking for trades, I have already purchased another newer S2k to replace this one. I have no time to deal with it. Currently it has 151,000 miles on it. This is the cheapest S2k in the country with a clean title. I have the title on hand clear of any liens etc… No lowballers, no solicitation to sell on other websites, no insurance rate inquiries.. Honest seller looking for a honest buyer. Car has mostly highway miles from traveling from Chicago to Michigan... car is currently in Ann Arbor, Mi.
