1967 Fiat Dino Spider 135AS0000157 For Sale Stored for 30 years in a garage in dry area of Southern California! http://webpages.charter.net/lm2504me/FiatDinoGallery/ Details: History: Imported in US in April 1978 for Kruse Auction in Santa Monica on June 1978. (I have original Italian Importation papers) Purchased at auction for $7400.00 on June 1978 California registration / title (I have original Kruse Auction purchase receipt) Registration renewed for 1979-80 period with personalized blue plates Registration stops at 79-80 period Fiat Dino found east of Los Angeles in desert area stored in a garage for over 30 years. (I have photos when found) Purchased after moved to a small warehouse in Van Nuys (photo above) Condition: Mechanically: Engine out of car and disassembled due to dropped valve on cylinder #4 in 1979 – all parts present Both heads with new valves, based on old bent valves in box and dye on seats in heads Piston #4 with hole in it from valve impact (Two used pistons included) 4-6 cylinder head with weld repair around the chain tensioner. (Later series head for replacement included – just need tensioner sprocket assembly which is available new or used) Engine complete – All cylinders have hone marks, no gouges in liner for cylinder #4 which appears to have been replaced. Original transmission – the shifter moves but does not engage transmission, upon inspection the shifter fork casting is broken. (Spare transmission with NOS synchro rings included, also casting can be weld repaired) No original parts missing, except middle section of exhaust system, note the 3 to 1 assemblies, tail section and headers are present. Includes spare flywheel and NOS starter ring Exterior: Originally Medium Blue with Beige interior, but now painted French blue - exterior, doors, engine compartment, trunk area with French blue interior. Very dry body, minor surface rust where paint is missing. Windshield – no cracks All other glass present Missing side and rear badges – which are available new Bumpers need rechroming and very little straightening Driver door door gap is off at forward edge and needs to be aligned Have correct metal Sebring mirror. Needs rechroming and resilvering of mirror due to age. Soft top material needs replacement Grill needs cleaning and minor welding on one tab Original Carello headlights installed Total of 5 wheels, 4 installed and spare in trunk NOS side marker lights included Interior: Dash, fascia, and instruments in excellent condition. Glove box included Missing original steering wheel and armrests. Non-original replacements in place. Rearview mirror needs resilvering due to age Interior is blue vinyl and floor covering is diamond stitched vinyl. No radio Original interior was beige, based on rear seat back material still in place under blue upholstery Electrics: All components in interior are in place Alternator is out Original horn compressor and horns installed All engine compartment components present Battery cover and strap Extras Used Head right side later series, no damage noted – to replace the #4-6 original head, if desired Used spare flywheel, pressure plates, and disc Used Steering box assembly Used brake assemblies Used pedal assembly NOS starter ring NOS Engine gasket kit including head gaskets NOS Weber carb kits and gaskets NOS upper shock support brackets for engine compartment NOS Brake rotor for knockoffs NOS Hood latches NOS tie rod plus clamps NOS radiator temperature switch NOS leaf spring components NOS Coil bracket Used emergency brake handle assembly Used ventilation diffusers Used Door handles, etc. Floor jack and operating handle Etc.
