This is my personal car of over 26 years. I am the second owner. I have folder from the original owner(a ford dealer's wife) that has all paper work since new servicing anything on the vehicle. It is really cool, and documents the low original mileage. This car has never been off the frame but has been pampered its whole life. It has never been driven in winter, even though it has spent its entire life in Wisconsin. I have owned the car since it had 51,000 miles. I have driven it to several national Thunderbird conventions, and the car has won numerous trophies. It is a super drive, and a show car all in one. I completed a frame on restoration about 6-7 years ago and it is still beautiful. Engine compartment is detailed, all correct original Ford parts. Car is original Thunderbird Bronze, with matching bronze interior. I replaced seat cover just a year ago to get correct logo seat cover. Soft top was just complete restored inside and out, all chrome parts redone, and it has not been done since. Paint is show quality base clear straight as an arrow. There are three small chips. All weatherstripping is new Ford, and Chrome is all nos Ford. Bumpers were show chromed. Car has new Kelsey Hayes wires with radial wide whites. They might have 5,000 miles on them. Transmission was complete rebuilt just two years or 3,000 miles ago. All gauges work correctly, heater also. The only thing that does not work is wipers. Car has power steering, brakes. Seat is manual and windows are crank. All stainless and chrome trim is like new. Car drives like new tracks perfectly. Fender skirts are NOS Ford with all new trim. The only thing that has never been redone is the rare non porthole hardtop. Complete, but needs restoration. Car is located in Green Bay Wisconsin and available to inspect and drive. I just complete two ten year restorations on frame off E Birds, yes one is bronze. This is not a fire sale, but an opportunity for someone to have a once in a lifetime classic thunderbird in a rare and desirable color combination. This is not trailer queen, but a detailed correct driver. It is super sharp. Again please ask questions before you bid.
