This is a 1969 Volkswagen Beetle, complete and in good physical and driving condition. It is a reliable daily driver. Upgrades include a new interior (3 yrs old), electronic ignition, and front disc brakes. The right rear quarter pan has been replaced (the one under the battery); see photo. The body and pan are solid; it could use some cosmetic body work and painting. She passed the Texas safety inspection in March 2010. Mechanicals work: parking brake, brakes, windows, doors, wipers, lights, etc. No heater or defroster (this is Texas, after all). The only significant problem is that the shifter must be held back to keep her in second gear. No other tranny or clutch problems. This is a solid project car, a fun daily driver, or a-work-in-progress daily driver.
