Up for sale is a 1973 Plymouth Duster project. The project was started by a "body man" in hopes of doing a restoration for my son. As you can see what I got back from this "man" was hardly what I bargained for. My son has since bought a different Duster so this one goes up for sale. I got it from the son of the original owner. He's a friend of mine so if you have any questions I don't have the answer for, I can get you the answer. According to him it is a late 1972 build (engine) so it is a higher horse power engine. Also, the TF904 transmission is the A999 version meaning it has more clutches and is tougher. As far as I know it is mostly there. I know the radiator is missing, as well as the exhaust manifolds ("body man" CUT the headers in three pieces to get the engine out) but other than that I don't know of anything that is missing, exterior, interior or trim. The motor is in pieces and will need to be rebuilt. It has been steam cleaned but that is it. The transmission needs to be rebuilt as it did slip when I got the car because it had been run low on fluid. The only piece to the car that was sanded down is the trunk lid and it has some surface rust. There is also some (very little in my opinion) rust around the rear passenger wheel well. I was told there is also some rust on the drivers side rear wheel well, but I can't remember. The floor boards had some rust but have been treated with POR15 to limit the extent of damage. Floor pans are readily available through year one and other aftermarked producers. I honestly believe this car to be in VERY good restorable condition.
