Hello, You are bidding on a project or parts 1997 Jeep TJ Wrangler rolling chassis with drivetrain. There are many good useable parts and this would be a great solid base for a build. The following is an honest, accurate and thorough description of all that I know about this Jeep. Parts included are: Engine: 4 cyl 2.5 Liter- 140,000 miles, ran great and well maintained No leaks or knocks. Transmission- 5 Speed, AX-5 with shifter and linkage shifted smoothly and in good running condition no leaks or noises. Clutch and Slave Cylinder-fine, no problems. Transfer Case- NV231 With Shifter and linkage, 4x4 worked. Axles- no leaks or noises. Front-Dana 30, 4:10 Gears Rear- Dana 35, 4:10 Gears Front and rear Driveshafts and U-joints, no issues. Suspension- Front and Rear Coil Springs in Good condition. Shocks need replacement. Steering gear assembly good. Power Steering pump fine, Power Steering Box Leaked. Front and rear track bars, pitman arm and sway bar all good. Tie rods appear good. Upper and lower Ball joints on both sides Worn and need replacement. Left control Arm needed replacement, others were fine. Brake System- Master Cylinder Good, Lines are good, Rotors ok, Front brakes Needed Calipers, Rear brakes were fine. E-Brake Assembly and Linkage Good. All fluid lines and hoses (Fuel, steering, etc.) good. Exhaust: Muffler, Cat. and pipes rusty but no holes and functional. Exhaust manifold leaked due to one broken Bolt. Tub/Body- In Good condition, some surface rust and scratches but no holes in body or floor. Gas, clutch and brake pedals and assembly intact and working. Roll bars in Good shape. Rear tailgate and hinges in great condition and opens freely. Hood in nice condition, no rust or dents. Hinges and latches are Good. Frame- In good condition, one hole in area near tailpipe needs a small 2" x1" weld, Other than that it is solid, with some surface rust and flaking. Body mounts all look good, some rust but nothing major. Skid plates are all good. Gas tank and fuel pump assembly good. Other: Tires Worn but hold air, Rims are stock on front, aftermarket on back and are in Fair /poor condition. This jeep had Air Conditioning (needed a charge) and includes all componants such as lines, compressor, accumulator, etc. Does not include the A/C evaporator core located in heater box. Comes with a Clear NH Title and VIN. This Vehicle is Located in New Hampshire and Must be Towed; If you can not come to pick it up, Please Do Not Bid. If you can not Pay for it, Please Do Not Bid.
