Allison Auto Wholesale is proud to offer you this 2008 Ford F350 extended cab dual rear wheel four wheel drive pick up truck. Already the biggest truck in town, this Super Duty appears even more imposing because of the larger grille, deeper bumper, and stacked lamps with the headlights on the bottom. Dimensions are easily given in yards rather than inches, the sheer vastnessof the sheetmetal may overwhelm your car wash guy! The redish color on the side vent gives away it is diesel powered. The 6.4 liter twin turbo diesel engine is all new for 2008, with just two parts shared with the previous 6.0 liter diesel. It is much quieter, cleaner (the exhaust is may be cleaner than the air going in, in some cities) and has likely given up a few percentage points in fuel economy because of the added output and heavier truck. Apart from the speed with which it barrels up hills and the probable 10% to 40% better fuel mileage, it's not noticeably different than your everyday gasoline engines. The new engine is said to produce about 350 horsepower and an amazing 650 foot pounds of torque! This four wheel drive beast, powered by this massive diesel engine will undoubtedly go anywhere and pull everyhthing with no problem! As you can see there is a hydraulic Tommy Lift mounted to the rear of the truck in the place of the tailgate. This lift functions as if it were new, and being hooked up to the factory auxillary switches, you get added security...no one can use the lift unless the power is turned to the on position mounted on the dash of the truck.
