You are bidding on a good, used, classic Honda 550 Four Motorcycle. I bought it several years ago and have restored it and enjoyed it ever since. I am selling it because I need more space for other projects in the garage. The bike has been stored indoors by myself and the previous owner. I have owned the cycle since 1999. Over that time I have replaced the tires, inner tubes, reupholstered the seat, rebuilt the carborators, replaced the air filter, replaced the points, plugs, battery, hand grips, windshield, added a rear luggage case, and done all of the seasonal maintenance, including fuel stabilizer over the winter. I removed the cruise control cable and knob because it wasn't working correctly. The battery cover is cracked and I have hot glued it for repair. The bike comes with a windjammer installed. I never did get the key for opening the seat so I had to take the lock mounting nuts and bolts off to access the area under the seat. The listing includes the original seat back, another rear luggage case, and 2 saddle bags that are not currently on the bike, as well as a Clymer service manual. The manual covers Honda 350-550 fours from 1972-1978 and is in good shape. The Cycle drives and sounds great down the road and in town. The red oil indicator light stays on however. I think the oil pressure sensor unit needs replaced. Last summer I dropped the oil pan and checked the screen on the oil pick up and it was clear. I drove afterwards and it drives fine.
